I can't believe that one of the best mecha anime I've ever seen was actually just gay porn. But goddamn was that some good gay porn for all the wrong reasons.

Are you serious? The action scenes were okay despite the scarcity but other than that it just wasn't very well written or directed. The plot was basically in the background.

Take out the gay parts and it becomes a rather entertaining mecha show. Alien invaders that live on the outskirts of Pluto, an expansionist Earth and people being captured and turned into living mecha against their own. The premise is better than that of Gundam.
The thing that I really hated in this one episode oav is that by the end of the episode you have a preview of a multi-episode series that never came to be.

I want to get raped by giant fat men in a space ship. Did that happen before the ova or after I don't remember. Either way, they could have copied from an analogous scene from the 80s hentai Urotsukidoji.

Surprisingly, Bobbitt was actually pretty late in the game as far as the idea of dick removal as karmic comeuppance goes.
Horror in the 70s, for example, went to that well on several occasions (I Spit on Your Grave and Cannibal Holocaust being two well known/infamous examples.)
