I need pictures
pictures of ship bridges

I see dead people.
Hard to find good pictures of it, but I think Forbidden Planet's Space Cruiser C-57D may have been one of the first sci-fi spacecraft to be controlled from a "bridge" rather than a "cockpit". It's a gorgeous two-level affair, too.
Ive always hated TNG's bridge. Partly for how empty it is but mostly because it looks more like a family media room than an actual command station.
If I where an attacking alien vessel it wouldn't make me respect the captain to see him within hand holding distance of his 1st officer and psychiatrist.

Well, everything in Forbidden Planet was gorgeous

These large roomy bridges annoy me because people are not in speaking range of each other.

This, if you have to shout to tell someone something or go over to them it could very easily become chaotic.

I'd want those chairs in my media room.
>>14740085
I would be a pretty sweet media room, I am not disputing that.
All of you stop. Best bridge comin thru

Did they do a remaster for this movie or something? I saw it on TV almost a decade ago but it looked like something from the 90s rather than the 50s
>>14742034
It was a very ambitious project

WAKE UP ANIKI
>>14742034

>>14743805
