Going through all the gundams, far seen: 0079, 00, wing, 0080, bit of IBO and a few episodes of 08th MS. Of all those 0080 is best so far.

More seriously, the series is fantastic of course, but unlike the popular consensus, I actually really liked the soundtrack. Its ironically simple and optimistic style really highlighted the cruelty of the situation. I think it helped to emphasize the simple worldview of our main protagonist, Al.
