I just finished Mobile Suit Gundam moments ago. Loved it. The part where White Base was on Earth was the best part of the show. Kai was based, Amuro was based, Char was based, Bright was based, the whole crew was based.

I've just got some questions
>is newtype autism a big thing later in the series? Didn't hate it but it wasn't my favorite.
>did Hayato steal Amuro's bitch right at the end?
>why were the Zeong's legs just for show?
>did Char tell Sayla to fuck Amuro right before he killed off the Zabi family?
>why'd the Gundam have to die?

The whole point is that they couldn't mass produce it because of cost. Its comparable to German tanks in WWII. Sure they had tons of em but once supplies ran thin and the money dried up they were just very cool looking large pieces of metal.
