I agree. The FX was advertised as some next unknown advancement compared to the first three gundams which were references to the rx, zeta, and zz. The mouth gives it a very alien feeling vibe which fits well with the setting and new concept.

I do wish they had taken more advantage of the AGE system in general over the course of the show. They described it as an adaptive system that provided parts for different circumstances, but all we got was AGE-1 getting a fast and a strong form, AGE-2 getting a straight upgrade, and AGE-3 getting a heavy and space form. The side materials had so much more creative equipment.

Too many isn't good either. Bandai took quite a while to release HG AGE-3 Fortress. It almost had the same fate as Blast Impulse.
