He should have had some personality at some point instead of being a bland empty villain from the get go, so the redemption arc wouldn't end up so utterly misguided.
Or at least have Adonis be the main villain instead, "I want my utopia be utopic, screw everyone else" is a better motivation than none at all, and the main characters in the end showing him that our world is worth it and his is no utopia at all yadda yadda would have made more sense.
But then we'd have to scrap Necrom's arc since it was basically the same thing, which is great, Necrom's arc was crap.
But without it, we'd have a lot of spare time that would end up filled with even more inane nonsense that it is right now, and we'd have like 3 more Takeru deaths and 2 more Makoto arcs that add nothing.
Fucking hell, fixing Ghost is hard, might as well just blow everything up and start again from square one.

Ghost would have been better if the main writer had been replaced halfway through. Keeping him for only 5 episodes after Deep Specter's debut (episode 28) was stupid. It's clear that the secondary writers weren't allowed to do important stuff while he wasn't around, which is why the show went nowhere in the 2nd half.
