Just wanna say after MD I decided to play 2nd and I'm using a line-by-line translation guide (http://2ndsrwoge.com/#chapters) that I keep open on my phone and it's much less tedious than I expected it to be, I'm enjoying it a lot, it's a pretty solid translation and scrolling through it so you read each line as it comes up in the game itself doesn't really ruin the immersion much at all

The only issue I still have is that I have a hard time figuring out what spirit commands and upgrades are, but menu navigation is easy, since most of the basic commands are just two characters even with zero understanding of Japanese it's pretty easy to go "Okay that one means transform" and etc

I highly recommend you play 2nd next, don't miss out on it

Hiryu can't hit shit tho aside of melee inspector. Unless with support fire. I used it as a defensive support. Most damage was done with graviton cannon and cross smasher.

It's not even about that. Finger Cleave is Touya's ONLY post-move until he hits 120 morale. Finger Cleave has 1 range, and...was it +5 accuracy or +0 accuracy, I forget. It's extremely hard to make Granteed effective before Touya gains morale, and his movement range is a crippling problem until he or Tenia gain Accel.
