I'd agree, but she seemed to have been informed of most of the stuff Zanscare was doing anyway. I recall her being told about the public guillotine executions, the plan to bulldoze the Earth with the Motorad Squadron, and Uso even asked her directly on why Zanscare has to keep using the guillotine to enforce fear, and she didn't really do anything to stop it afterwards. Uso's plea should've been a wake-up call, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears.

The point that really had me confused was when she was mind raping Uso with the Angel Halo, and every time he broke free of the illusions so he could keep struggling to survive, she kept trying again with a different approach. And wasn't Shakti told by the League leaders that the Angel Halo causes a degenerative effect on people?

It's easily possible that she really was manipulated by Kagatie for all the atrocities Zanscare committed, but by the end it became so muddled that I really didn't know anymore.

That's true, she probably believed that the ends justified the means, and using the guillotine as well as killing Uso would have to done to accomplish the greater task of using the Angel Halo on the Earth. It was shown that she didn't know about the device mentally turning humans into infants, so only when she disagreed with that did she decide to stop being manipulated.

I believe it wasn't until the big reveal when Tassilo betrayed Kagatie that anyone explicitly knew of the degenerative effect so Shakti couldn't have known either until the second time she went into the Halo.

By the time she met Üsso in battle, she'd spent so much time believing in Zanscare's ideals that she couldn't escape them. She couldn't convince Üsso to leave the battlefield, so she might as well either kill him, or capture him and make him love her and fight for Zanscare. Solidifying her insanity is the possibility of becoming a Cyber Newtype. Whatever the case in SRW, she was apparently portrayed as a Cyber Newtype in the Tomino novelization. (I wonder if making her a Cyber Newtype was an admission that he didn't properly establish her motivations in the show.)

What's uso to Katejina and she really wants from him ? How did she went from his prideful yet still carying big sister to want to torment and kill you sister ?
Many of what she did to uso doesn't make any sense to me, she seems want to do anything bad as possible to make uso hate her and give up but at the same time while doing this also test if he still love her and see her as the big sister she used to be .
