>The Soyokaze
I remember this appearing as the battleship in the example stages for an ancient-ass SRW maker program you could find online so long ago.
It would work pretty well for a storyline that involved deep space patrols and other cosmic shenanigans, and involved a cast with alot of 'fighter pilot' characters and their flight craft.
It could also come with its own Ace pilot in his high-speed fighter, the twin girls in their larger fighters and the Marine's drop ship as unitsthe dropship would have a melee-range attack where the leader flies it up to the target, and then the marines pile out in their power suits and swarm like ants to wreck the crap out of it before piling back in

Is that the SEED not!White Base?

It's someone modelling work of the Amaterasu from Starship Operators.

Best ship coming through.

I like it. Thanks for posting

What the fuck are you doing you know there are Borg on this board.

Should of spoilered that

Thank god someone else recognizes this show. Why wasn't it more popular?
>>14692472
I hope the Captain's seat is made of soft Corinthian Leather!

I can't be the only who thinks this thing looks like the result of an Imperial Shuttle's one night stand with an F-117 Nighthawk.
>>14691758
Pre-2005 light novel origins, no spin-offs/sidestories/sequels, short promotional anime series that was never followed up, fights are technobabble-based, no curious but dedicated cult following, almost zero merchandising.
Life's like that.
not posting best ship, shame on you.
>>14691608
what is the Russian analogue of "engRRRish"?
>>14698027
PROMT or machine translations. When you take the text and run it through the translating program. That's how you get ridiculous phrases like "Пepcoнaл тoлькo" (literally "Personnel only", the correct translation would be "Toлькo для пepcoнaлa")
>>14688374
it looks like a fucking shoe from that angle. anon.
>>14686679
Despite the source material, I really like the Diva.
>>14699108
Man, the default mode was just so-so, but the upgraded mode had shades of the Albion's influence and it was so goddamned sexy.
>>14699136
I like both. I just can't attach both pics in one post.
>>14699142
I'd have posted an image but I couldn't find a decent one. And it turned out I accidentally deleted AGE off my media drive.
>>14699108
>>14699142
Never saw AGE, but I'll admit that's a damn sexy ship.
>>14699136
Other way around for me. Default was something sorta original, upgrade was WOW ANOTHER WHITE BASE!
>>14699136
>>14699597
So what, was it an upgrade, or does it transform?
>>14699664
Both! It was to incorporate it's new main gun: Photon Blaster Cannon

>tfw want to take a picture of the Tyr model from tactics but I can't make the window textures work
>>14692767
I'm glad i'm not the only one who thought that when he saw the name.
>>14704544
I extracted that Niflheim using jpcsp and edited the Tyr texture to make it fit. I also made some quick specular and full-bright masks for a nicer render.
jpcsp lets you dump the current mesh and texture data when you pause it, and Tactics handily has a unit gallery.
The model comes out fragmented into separate triangles and you need to auto-merge vertices with the same co-ordinates to make it useable. Though auto-merge isn't viable for some meshes with 2d elements (like Bermate) since it corrupts the UV on those elements.
>>14705327
Is there any way to fix the UVs?
I tried doing the Other Civilization ships and all the window textures get fucked
>>14705345
Oh, I think I understand what you mean now. That's a little trick used to create glowing areas (since the Tactics engine probably doesn't support fullbright masking) by using small 2d panels with faint glow textures set to additive and lined up with the windows, navigation lights etc. on the hull texture.
One option is just delete them as shown in the image. But some models have a LOT so a good option might just be to isolate the elements you want to keep and cut & paste them out, leaving only the light panels behind.
Alternatively, you could isolate those panels and set them to additive blending which re-creates how the game renders them.
But the most straightforward way is to just get rid of them.
Wooden ships are sexy.
>>14706108
I still like cabbits more.
>>14705544
My pc can't handle rendering the larger spaceships with textures on 3D View so I guess I will just erase the little panels
>>14705544
There seems to be an awful lot of extra edges in the form of diagonal lines on some surfaces. Is the model that busy with its angles or are they just lines?
>>14706522
A cabbit is fine too.
