It's a fun middle of the road series that does nothing special, has glaring flaws, heavily relies on homages to established mecha series (some bordering more on the side of plagiarism than homage), should be treated as a celebration of mecha or a gateway series for getting into mecha, toxicmasculinity.meme, and this thread is made way too much for me to believe you aren't the same one again since it's been the same image at least the last 3-4 times.

For the reason he posted it yes. That is definitely a list of anime that perfectly constitutes two kinds of people though: people who watch these shows but somehow think mecha has a negative association and thus say these are the only good ones because they don't "focus on being mecha shows" or you have people who think they are super big into mecha and these entry level shows are the only things they have seen.
