Jesus fuck Nagano this is L-Gaim, not Evangelion.

>He doesn't know that all his favorites robots have a spooky face behind the plate
That's just a removed faceplate, robot innards always look spooky-
>fangs

I love Nagano's designs.

Wizard of Oz came to mind immediately.

Empty space above the eyes is probably for vulcans that are attached to the helmet.
>>14673719
Mark II is creepy as fuck.
True face of terror right here.
>>14673719
>>14674082
Isn't Turn A mostly hollow?

But L-Gaim came out way before Eva.
>>14674082
Looks like a moustached guy wearing a hard hat.
>>14674082
I'd be fucking terrified if I saw something wipe out all of human technology while wearing that Bob the Builder face.
>>14675763
CAN WE ERASE IT?
YES WE CAN!
Gaiking is fucking spooky.
>>14675956
>>14675949
I still believe that its the ugly face that kill the enemies, and that the attacks is just the cherry on top.
>>14674033
Maybe that's what the Scarecrow really needed from the wizard.
>>14674438
That's the joke anon.

Crikey.
>>14674112
in universe yes but the model kit has an actual inner frame
>>14674112
>>14676037
I thought it was just the torso that's hollow
Any L-Gaim artbook woth downloading?
>>14675956
Where is that from?
>>14675969
>60 mm
Not like I expect anime writers to be the biggest experts in military hardware, even in the context of Gundam, but aren't those pretty big bullets they're firing?
>>14676045
Not really hollow, it's just got tubes for missiles.
>>14676037
An inner frame that's mostly hollow.
>>14676358
Three times the caliber of vulcans you can find on fighters these days.
It's pretty hilarious considering Gundam vulcans are usually as powerful as a mosquito trying to bite a knight in full armor unless they get lucky and hit a camera.
Are their any other show with biomechs like Eva?
>>14676880
>>14676358
If it's not a thoughtless mistake, the guns would probably fire low-velocity rocket-powered high explosive shells. Would make sense in space, but be utter shit under gravity.
>>14676880

Well, even the legendary Gau-8 30mm can't do a whole lot against modern tanks today so I really don't have an issue with this myself.
I'm not saying that 30mm CAN'T disable modern tanks, it just takes a lot of luck and tremendous shot placement on the pilots behalf. If you just spray your cannon at the front of a modern tanks strongest armor, like how we generally see vulcans used, then it won't do anything.

>Any L-Gaim artbook woth downloading?
Any?
>>14682927
None have been scanned, so no.
>>14682993
There's one, http://g.e-hentai.org/g/947483/0679c6dca4/
>>14681374
It was never legendary just massively overhyped from day 1.
Christ the A-10 was obsolete by the early 80's when every Soviet Army had it's own personal mobile AA unit and it only got worse as time went by. Literally all it's good for now is
dropping PGM's on brown people with no AA. Fuck's sake man the Iraqi army did well enough against the A-10 and it's DURRRR BIG GUN that the airforce started restricting them
to PGM's only.
>>14673954
A true /m/an, getting a blowjob from a mobile suit.
>>14673954
Wow it's Iron Mask
>>14674112
You can see that it's not in the show. Even the legs are filled with the I-Field propulsion fins. So I imagine if anything is hollow it's primarily the chest, which can still carry weapon attachments like missiles
>>14673719
Your pic doesn't even have a clear shot of the naked woman hidden inside the gem.

No one talks about it, but that feature was carried over in to the cutesy version...

>Well, even the legendary Gau-8 30mm can't do a whole lot against modern tanks today so I really don't have an issue with this myself.
Remeber, though, if you double the caliber of the shell, you'll probably also double the length.
approximating as cylinders:
v1 = pi * r^2 * L
v2 = pi * (2r)^2 * 2L
v2 = 8 * pi * r^2 * L
v2 = 8 * v1
so if it's like a double scale gau-8, it's going to be 8 times as heavy and fire ammunition 8 times as large. das pretty big mane
