First Gunpla (or other plastic model) you every bought

I bought the old HG Gyan when I started watching BF when I was a newfag and saw the fight between Sei and the Sazaki kid which made my penis inflate 7 times it's size. I then got a Revive Gundam, and the Gyan got lost in the mail, and really, that was a better fate than what happened to the Gundam.

I bought GP01, Mark II AEUG and Sniper II all at once. No regrets. Oh, and I picked up Nobell Berserker for like $16 the next week.

Just got my first one yesterday the HGUC 1/144. I really enjoyed building it and Im probably going to get the RG Gundam 78 next.

HGUC Char's Zaku. Got an Alex a while later but I lost interest some time later and haven't bought anything since.

I bought a hguc zaku as my first, great for a first build but disapointing overall

It was the RG RX-78-2, which I ended fucking up pretty bad. One of these days, I'm gonna buy another and see just how far I've come along. Maybe I'll pick up the MG RX-78-2 3.0 as well, make a diorama out of it.

Can't be sure honestly, some MG Wing suit way back. Recently when I started back up again it was the RG Exia.

A 1/144 Zeta I got at Disney World (Epcot's Japan pavilion). Built it in the hotel room the same night, needless to say it looked like shit (not that I knew better).

I'm ashamed to have bootleg HG EW Altron as my first, but back then I didn't even know about Bandai.

I'm gonna go with gunpla and it was an HGUC Powered GM (because bitch about Katoki all you want, he made the GM look fucking badass)... Of course being a complete noob I didn't realize you had to file the nubs from the sprues down until about my eighth kit. God my earliest gunpla deserved so much better.

A couple Wing kits from the 90's. Wing, Deathscythe, Sandrock, Altron, and Epyon. I was young and ignorant so they all ended up looking like complete trash.

Though the first gunpla where I had the proper tools and supplies for was a HGUC EFSF Zaku II F2.

I got a HG maxter gundam from a flea market when I was like 5. I pulled the pieces off the runner and didn't follow the instructions at all so it ended up looking like some Chinese knockoff

An HG Exia, because I didn't do research and bought it on a whim. I cut the plastic right next to the pieces, so there are discolored marks all over the blue pieces. I'm getting better, though. On Monday I'm going to do panel lining for the first time.

It was a piece of shit, and my lack of skill at the time only made things worse. But it was my starting point.

Early 2004, I was so proud of it then. Now all I see are nubs, unfilled panel lines and no markings.
I'm still working to improve it to this day. Used gundam markers on it, cleaned those up and replaced then with wash, applied the dry transfers, waterslides and stickers, 2nd party stickers and softer/setter. A few more decals and I will finally top coat it and be finished.

I saw a Wild Tiger Figure Rise for $60 AUD at a convention in the city. I figured WOW THERES A BIG FIGURE IN THIS BOX but then on the bus home I opened it and I saw runners. I was shocked and unprepared for my first MG, let alone model kit. I built it with some kind of snipper then used toenail clippings for nubs a bit.

It looks shit and ive lost the mouth piece, but after a few years I moved to the city after high school, and bought the Barnaby MG too. Thanks Tiger and Bunny for this great hobby.

I started getting into Gunpla when Gundam Seed was airing on YTV back in 2005 or 2006. I bought a bunch of grunt suits from that and Destiny along with this motherfucker. I painted him black because I was 2edgy4u. I wish I still owned it out of nostalgia.

I got into gunpla about two months ago and so far I've got the HG Turn A and Zaku II F2. Gonna go for the F91 MG next I think,

Got the RX-79 vs Zaku II and Gouf 08th MS team kits. That Gouf is still one of my favorites

HG Strike Freedom.

Bought it when I was 14. SEED/Destiny was popular among my "gunota" friends back then. Didn't know shit about the show nor about gunpla, but was trying to fit in. So I bought the main protagonist suit thinking it was the safest bet. (Later realized I should've pick up HG Destiny instead, since it's the better kit).

Didn't own nippers back then (or know that I should use one). So I break the parts off the sprue with my hands and bit off the excess plastic with my teeth.
(It was not until 5 kits later that I finally bought a nipper and learned how to build a proper gunpla.)

Since I thought it was a toy, I played with it until it can barely stand.
When I realized it's supposed to be painted (since some parts looks different than in the manual), with no knowledge whatsoever, I painted it with wall paint and poster color.

It's in pieces now. I wish I still had the picture..

SD Gundam MKII when I was 10 and found the thought of building a full sized one daunting. I then built an SD Zaku II and Qubeley and then moved on to full sized kits, I think an AWFUL Gundam X 1/144 where the torso came printed in yellow was my first non SD.Within a year or so after I built a 1/100 scale Gelgoog Command that I got as a Christmas gift. Got out of gunpla by the time I was 12/13.
