When they said "Real Robot", they meant it. Closest thing they got to a super was Dunbine.

They might have to change a few things when getting into OGs, like dropping the whole "my granddaddy is Char" for Musica (and Elzam didn't fooled around, nor he had time to do it), and maybe change the Kalion names (the 'K' is just for telling them apart, the kanji are exactly the same as Ibis and Sleigh old machines).

Shame I couldn't find any decent pics on the enemy faction. The Mother Duplicator is also not good looking for a final boss, but could tie in nicely with the Database.

Never played a SRW game before Moon Dwellers. Game is pretty fucking sweet so far. Just wondering which skills are top priority to spend PP on? On that note, how do I get assloads of PP? I haven't been able to use maximum break or a chain attack since the tutorial either.

The games are built around multiple playthroughs so you're pretty much never going to get assloads of PP spread evenly; it's basically going to go mostly to your top aces (by which I mean Calvina and Irm)

There's no averaging PP so it's not much use outside of the desire pilot but mech with multi pilot earn more PP than those with single unit one

Be sure to pair Akemi (GG mode) during the last few stages with another mech (probably SRX), cast Discipline (2x pp), finish the boss, tons of PP. I get like 80pp per pilot for SRX for finishing off Xan-L. You can also use Sanshiki and have Tasuku/Rio on them

Got into another dungeon run in SRF XIV, and I gotta tell you man, I feel bad for people who main Aestivalis units - they never deal enough damage to be a proper dps, they never tank enough to even be remotely considered tanks, and they don't have enough utility to be considered supports under normal setups. It's like they try their best to cover all roles but end up failing at all of them in the process. It's a damn shame since they're such cute looking units, I wouldn't blame anyone trying to main them. They need buffs.

The very first one? It's pretty grindy because they haven't added a lot of the mechanics found in future games yet so it tends to be hard to compensate poor numbers with good strategy. It's mostly played for its characters

For the most part, future games in the series make the main-game more strategic if you stop yourself from grinding past everything, though that's certainly still an accepted playstyle.

Statisticians are a thing, although how to get them varies from game to game outside of their absence in Disgaea 2. Also, the dedicated grinding stages (Cave/House/Mountain of Ordeals with the easy-kill formation) give more exp as the series goes on. Basically, the fastest games for grinding are Disgaea D2 and the Vita version of 4. 4 on Vita has D2's Cheat Shop which lets you adjust gained exp and it's multiplicative with Statisticians.
