well I assume that's the case, I knew I was always grossed out/bored/annoyed when there was a romance plot in my shows as a kid. Plus it's probably hard to write a proper romance when you've got different people writing every other episode. Plus if you give him a steady girlfriend, you can't have any flirty villains/love plots/hot grill of the weeks without making the MC look like a cheating scumbag.

This design is all over the place and completely ridiculous and I can't tell if I love it or hate it. I wasn't so big on Fourze when he was introduced for the same reason, but the show's tone made it all appropriate. Ex-Aid needs to go full-tilt into wackiness for it to work.

What I like at least is that in all of Faiz's post show appearance, all of his nighttime/dark scenes have his tron lines and sword glow.
