This sunday they learned to hit the game server. The IP block isn't up right now. If you look at their face book, people are complaining that the server is down. The DDOS guys learned to hit the right target.

The game was pretty balanced before tetra was introduced, both sides had a selection of good suits. The gold meta is crazy now, its not just that the available suits are strong, theyre also easy as fuck to use. Jios turned maps and control points that could be defended into base races. TB gundam and psyho zaku are both ridiculous at 340 cost. Quebley's funnels are a huge danger to everything but high speed assaults. Zetas mid range firepower is absurd, tetra still melts everything while shiki combines killing power, speed and beam coating

The TW game contains a lot of powerful suits while at the same time omitting large portions of the "meta" itself - charge beam to instant switch weapon combos are very few, the most powerful suits out currently are the Gundam and Char Gelgoog, and the map rotation is full of old maps. Furthermore, "modern" upgrades are in power, such as master device weapons, rebalances and nerfs of current JP. And finally, everyone has access to every MS due to no sides. The biggest question to me at the moment is whether magellas and magella-type weapons have the shot speed upgrade in effect.

The first matches are 25vs25 or something and they are against people so shit I wondered if they were bots. Once you rank up though you better bite the pillow because they are going in dry.
Its been about a week since I started and now I can maybe kill someone before I get shot to bits which is a big improvement over when I started and I could maybe kill someone once a match.

i think the game password can also only be like 10 characters long so if you get an error that was probably it.

How would you rate Kampfer (heavy)?

Problems are that it's slower and doesn't have the low profile flight like its assault counterpart. It does come with heavy sturm faust which is dope but it doesn't make up for the other issues. The kampfer is known for its hit and run capabilities due to it being fast and having that low profile flight but there are better alternatives for the heavy version. It wasn't in the heavy list because it's basically a worse Kampfer. Take this with a grain of salt, if you like the heavy version don't let this discourage you for getting it have fun in your own way.

The loadout selection is just atrocious, what were they thinking.

Gundam gets the 2-point zook meanwhile Char's Gelgoog gets the S type.
Kai's Guncannon gets the F type zook while the Gelgoog gets the NORMAL type charge zook, Guncannon also gets the rock throw program while the Gelgoog gets a grenade.
Dual saber on the GM vs normal heat hawk on the Zaku.

I've been playing the TW server quite a bit, it's quite nice to not have 300+ ping and be able to actually kill shit reliably. I've been shitting on people with a deck consisting of Powered GM/Gouf Custom/Gundam Ground (assault)/Zaku IIFS.

It is amazing how many people won't even start maneuvering once they're under fire.

How do you reset the daily red ticket gacha on TW server?

But yeah, beam sabers are way better than heat hawks like another anon said. They just have way more reach, which is fair, but the attack speed is the same which makes taking your Zaku into melee combat against a GM into a losing proposition just about every time.

The charged beam rifle is kinda nice, though. Knocks out half a mech's health with one hit and the projectile is decently quick so you don't have to lead too much. Still digging it more than the bazooka, but maybe I need more time to git gud with the Zaku.

I just wish I could replace the grenade thing with a heat hawk, because I can't find a fucking use for those things with the bazooka present. Same thing on the GM that has something similar.

The beam and bazooka are situational, but both mainstay weapons Imo, the bazooka works better on ground maps because of the AoE effect and the high damage potential while the beam weapon is better as anti-air/space maps. Grenades are situational, and they need at least 1 module of grenade thrower to be decent. Grenades are for maps where you'll be fighting in corridors or defending an area, especially in Texas Colony, Jaburo, and the A Baoa Qu maps where you'll be defending and attacking spots from the distance with areas that lead in capture points.

Nah, this isn't standard battle.
First of all, there is no upgrades so it's not like the Flight Types fully upgraded or anything. The loadout itself isn't really the best it can get (standard grenades).

No items/consumables means that 340 cost cooldown will matter since you don't get to use respawn booster.

Most important thing is, Zeon lineup doesn't get a repair pod. The support gets a radar pod instead. Which seems like a tradeoff except for the fact that the Fed lineup isn't really good for ratting in the first place.

General consensus so far, the best Zeon can do to win is to probably rat the bases due to the Feds lack of radar, which is also highly dependent on what kind of map is being played.
They definitely won't win skirmishes/KD with the lack of repair pods and any form of bazooka.

It's not a death sentence to not have a commander but it's still part of your resources being completely unused if left alone and leaves you open for stuff like backstabs or base ratting by the enemy.

The Rick Dias is fantastic. Incredible mobility with little downside due to the high boost charge, unlike Doms. The Bazooka-->Melee combo is great, and the secondary weapons of either the double beam pistols or the upgraded vulcans are solid as well.

You rack up a number of points after every game. Once you get 10 points, you get a number of Gundarium Alloy from I believe 5, 10, 15, and 25. There's also a Gold MS Blueprint but I have no idea what it says nor do I know anyone that has it. You can keep gaining Gundarium until 9/14, but you can still use Gundarium until 9/21.

It's pretty good. Even though it isn't the same one that the Federation Rick Dias gets, or the Sturm Diaz as well I believe, it's still nice. But due to how good the vulcans are, it might not be worth using if you don't have beam shooter.

Hopefully you get rocket shooter or combat custom anyway. Unfortunately, I got beam shooter on my first one. Maybe I'll get another this event.

I did get the Marasai when it was originally released too. Honestly, it isn't as good as the Rick Dias, and this is coming from someone who prefers heavies as well.

The gold weapon is a charge megella cannon, and correct me if I'm wrong, it's the only Feddie suit that gets it. Unfortunately, it just doesn't really fit if you ask me. There are plenty of suits that have great CBR capabilities, and then plenty that have CBZ capabilities.

It's just not worth using when you could use a specialist that will be much more effective at either job. The charge magella is much better for Zeeks, considering the Fritz Helm gets an actual bazooka as well as sturmfausts.

Feddie Marasai is superb for 300 points, but it doesn't stand out in the Feddie heavy lineup as it competes with outright broken suits. If you do get it, the charge magella to beam cannon is a brain-free kill combination, and to add to that, the suit gets a heavy-type beam rifle specced for 340 cost suits instead of 300 cost. And finally, it's slim, mid-cost, red, beautiful, boosts well, and has a very good boost recharge for a heavy suit.

Maybe it's because I didn't have beam shooter, but it doesn't actually straight out kill. Compared to something like the F2, which is 40 cost lower, the CBZ-->Sturmfaust can consistently kill if you get a good CBZ shot off.

It's better for anti-air than a CBZ, but then compare that to your plethora of Guncannons/Gm Cannons with CBR combos. Those can easily kill full health high cost suits, and CBR shots are even easier to pull off than the charge magella.

It really is unfortunate that it doesn't hold up against other heavies, because it does have nice stats and I've always loved the Marasai's design. The loadout really hurts it. Maybe if it was lower cost?

I really love that the meta on the TW server means that even lowly ordinary Doms are actually a really potent and dangerous threat to just about anything. Gouf Customs are kinda like Dom kryptonite, tho.

In JP you know that you can do well on the leaderboards, and empty out the gacha to get exactly what you want, maybe in the first ten, maybe way later who knows. I also just feel wrong playing Taiwan, the new player base there clearly has no fucking clue what they are doing and playing against smurf jp/china accounts really doesn't help them.
