it was sureal like i was watching a show about soldiers or something. Wish we had a zeon equivalent so we could have a show where there were get this, TWO EQUALLY CAPABLE SIDES FIGHTING. There would have to be whole episodes where they used advanced and practised strategies and tactics to combat each other. Then when something incredibly powerful like a mobile armour shows up they would take it down by drawing away it's escort suits and destroying it's fuel and supply lines.

MS uses thermonuclear thrusters, meaning that the suit itself would have to deal with the intense heat generated by the heating elements anyway. The napalm might burned off the armor, but it's probably not enough to cook the guy inside. He can always eject anyway.

I feel like a sci-fi blue flame grenade used by a special mech designed to kill other mechs probably does some pretty serious shit to the enemy mech it hits. We're never shown what happened to that poor MS but I can't assume he went on to live a happy life just because we think that using IRL science it can't be that strong of a flame.

Besides that the logic that the suit's armor has to be as strong as the innards that contain the reactor/thrusters doesn't make any sense. It's like saying a jet engine is really hot inside, so you should have no problem covering the airplane in super napalm.

it is very clearly modeled after a deagle, albeit somewhat morphed. not exactly a surprise considering there are SCAR wielding Jestas running around, Geara Zulus with AK-47ish guns, etc. It looks like this in the gunpla too... I mean name another pistol with the same profile, where there's such a brick of a block below the muzzle.

I do, however, agree on you're conclusion. There wouldn't be enough oxidizer to keep burning for more than a minute and most of the heat would billow off into space with the flames.

Thermonuclear rockets seem kind of high tech for UC MS. Where is it mentioned they use them? Everything I can find relates to moving colonies and the like, or conflates thermonuclear with nuclear thermal and is about Doms. MS stuff tends to call them as using chemical rockets for the most part.
