So, as I searched through Gundam related materials, I found mentions of ,,generations of MSes". E.g Rehaize, MS on pic, is 4th generation MS.
Can someone explain to me how those generations work?
Which MS is considered as a first 2nd generation MS etc?
And differences between said generations?

I dont really know about UC although AOZ RE does provide a lot of development trees about it's suits.
In 00 though Celestial Being MS also follow generation. 1st gen was the 0 gundam being the very first. 2nd gen were the prototypes of CB s1 suits which were gen 3 MS along with 00's prototype. 00 was the only gen 4 suit and the MS in the movie were all gen 5.
I guess generations are separated by the difference in the technological level. In the presence of many manufacturers and many development projects the line separating generations can blur as each group advances to various degrees on it's own. When a new technology becomes commonplace for all manufacturers i guess that's when a generation establishes itself.

Not sure, looking further into the description it links the fact that it transforms to it's 4th generation designation. So 1st generation is just a mobile suit, 2nd gen's are combiners (?), and maybe 3rd gen's a mobile armours?

It could be referring loosely to semi-monocoque frame (OYW suits), early or partial movable frames (GM Quell and Rick Dias), full movable frame (Mk. II and on), and transformable (Zeta)

So is that what this thing was in the final episode of Build Fighters Try?
>>14648047
Yeah, the original version of it. Gundam TR-6 Woundwort. The black one is ReZeon claimed from Titans remnants.

It amazes me what those japs can do with some polystyrene and polyester putty. Hard surface sculpting is pretty hard.

The thing is meant to be so modular its borderline insane for the era its in, but its gundam.

Also inle is love.

They're really good. Nearly all show models tend to be and it makes me jealous I'm stuck with gunpla/figma.

>Tease it in the end of TRY even if it didnt win the poll
>Got my hopes up for a HG since Bandai would see it's popularity
>Still nothing
