I think it would more so than a car. You could have some 3M adhesive hooks and hang snacks like that inept Gustav pilot did in Ep7 or Unicorn.

In Zero G gravity, you could unhook yourself and float around in the cockpit.

There was enough room in the F91's cockpit to fit a 2nd person in a hammock sling so you could sleep that way if you'd like.

Valkeries in Gerwalk or flight mode would probably be pretty comfortable to sleep in. Especially if they have F-16 levels of reclined seat.

Maybe it depends on the cockpit. It seems like a Fafner cockpit would be comfortable. I need more cockpit shots of the Skell. I like the Ares 90 edgy design, though it doesn't look as good as Mumkhar.

The Skell's cockpit seat is mostly metallic by the looks of it so it might not be very comfortable as opposed to a cushioned seat in a car. Still we'll all be implanted in robot bodies so it might not be a real issue.

The first game ended with a post credit screen that read

when the entire game had no episodic format.
then a book created by the developers called the Xenogears perfect works was released and it revealed that the game was the 5th episode in a thousands year story that would've been 6 episodes in total.

Then came the ""spiritual sequel"" Xenosaga which had some aesthetic and questionably similar elements as the previous title hinting at them sharing the same universe or Xenosaga being a prequel to gears.
Xenosaga was also supposed to be a series of Six games, but onlt the first 3 were released as Xenosaga Episode I,II and III.

The first Xenoblade chronicles doesn't have anything like this other than concepts left out from development, but the sequel Xenobalde Chronicles X went full "go read the manga" with its ending

unless they take human comfort into account, it will be.

for example, if you sleep in the car, you'll feel uncomfortable after some time, because water vapor accumulation.
there's few way to eliminate such issue by using car's air-cond which lead to death by carbon monoxide if not properly monitored, or using safer alternative method to reduce water vapor in air.

Monado was also originally meant to not be a Xeno game, it was Monado: Beginning of the World.

Xeno games by their nature are always just one small part of a bigger story.

I'd argue that the length is more of the experience rather than the nature.

But I honestly haven't paid enough attention to X to know if it continues what has been a repeating theme in the Xenomyth, that of the gnostic narrative and the eternal recurrence.
