I don't want to watch the old ones or the 2000s one because "normal kid like u" self insert characters have been a trigger for me since I was a kid and there's better-made 60s Daiei kaiju for me to watch (pic related) but I love the 90s trilogy

Plenty of people think the 90s trilogy is good.

I know the 60s one is just meant to be charming in how cheap and dumb it is but when it comes to that stuff I'd rather just look at 'best of' clips instead of watching the movie from beginning to end.

Man that one was weird. The human plot felt like a totally different movie they never finished and decided to cram it in with Gamera at the last moment.
