Had this lazy kitbash hanging around on my computer for almost a year and a half and I finally got around to mocking up a color scheme for it.

In hindsight, a Grimgerde with extra boosters would work better for the design I had in mind.

Since the Tryon-3 HG leaves you with a number of parts for the ZZ (obviously) I made a mock up the best that I could of what it would be like to make a ZZ but using up all of the spares from Tryon-3.

Oh, no. I meant that if the Grimgerde had been around when I first thought up the kitbash, I would've just used that.

Though now I'm at a lost for what boosters would go well with the Grimgerde's proportions.

Honestly I just cut out the Flag's head, erased the AGE-2's head then carefully positioned it so it wouldn't look too obvious. The real hard part is finding lineart posed at similar angles so everything looks flush and natural.

Dark Matter Exia's wings could work, but I think the Tallgeese I's would look better. Maybe something even like the Sinanju Stein? However, I wouldn't know where a Stein lineart piece would even be.

yeah, def. a lot better.,, 3.0 is pretty good, id have made the side skirts white but im loving the gold bands around hte wrists and ankles .. i think the biggest problem with showing gundam colors is shading.. its kinda hard to get a grasp of what the color is without shading

Thanks, man. For the Perfect Gundam with the Full Armor Thunderbolt's colors, I have to say I agree but I think it might have to do with both the design of the Gundam itself along with the colors and how they're spread along on the FA Thunderbolt. Personally, I think that much white is enough for the Zaku II F2000 with the Psycho Zaku's colors. Though maybe a little separation in the line on the shoulder? That could give it that effect of it being more without actually putting new lines all over the thing.

This is from the same session sorta. I tend to do multiple things at once. I was going for more of a GM feel with this one. Again, no idea what I was coloring. There was this 4 legged mech from the same line that I was trying a new coloring style with. I painted it a bit Metal Gear Ray and gave up half way through.

rockman-forte is me. Eriance left a long time ago. Which explains why I colored it. I used to color a lot of his stuff., but the TRO thing was done for someone else. I wasn't sure if the initial design was the other guy you mentioned.

Well with the Sinaju it was just a matter of using the wand tool to get rid of the background. With this I'd pretty much have to re-draw it since the lines are so fine and there is so much color. So it may take a while if i cant find line art.

On a side note, god damn I love katoki designs! This thing looks fuckin awesome!!
