How do you get the "retail" subs for the Delta BDs to work? I'm using MPC, and enabling the retail subs just turns the subs off completely. So, I started up Aegisub, and it can't load the retail subs, either. Only the gg subs.

I think his point is that the show hasn't had many (if any) good episodes in his view. Personally I'd say it has had a few good episodes (though I don't know the episode numbers off hand), but that even in the first half there were only a couple and that the show has mostly been mediocre, rather than outright terrible.

It started out really strong in my opinion, and may finish strong, but a lot of the in between has been boring and even in the first half it was mostly boring but was on the receiving end of good faith built up from the opening episode and possibilities that made my perception of it stronger because I was assuming any episode now it'd start to do stuff with Arad or Mikumo or whoever, and that them being non entities at the start was okay because of it rather than that the show would defer on a lot of that for most of its run time in favor of two characters whose relationship I'm not remotely invested in.
