I thought you guys might appreciate this. It's a super old flash cartoon from like 2002 that used to be on Cartoon Network's website. A few of you might have seen this years ago when you were kids, but for years it's been lost.
So, I dug it up and now I'm showing it to you. It aged like milk and a lot of you might cringe, but I thought it was a fun little oddity and I felt like sharing it.

Don't let tumblr see this, or they'll start doxxing and harrassing the creators for "racism" and "cultural appropriation," right after they get the video pulled for being offensive.
With that said, it reminded me of a bygone era back when teen superheroes didn't have to be self deprecating, fat rednecks could pilot robots without becoming hamburger and a short could pay homage to anime without shitting on the entire fandom.
Those were better times, back before social media struck the fear of SJWs into fans and content creators alike.
I don't think we'll ever see anything as funny, lighthearted and politically incorrect as good ol' Hiro ever again.
The next time we see a short about a used robots peddler it'll probably just be run by a caricature of a fat white autistic neckbeard, with the robots just being a backdrop for disparaging on fat/white/autistic/unattractive guys.
You know, because only losers like chinese cartoons.
At least we'll still get the occasional gem here and there.

MAXIMILLIAN
Man I fucking miss the sincerity and the lack of self awareness of the old anime community, around the early 2000s

He's pointing that mecha out because just like the machines near the end are Zakus, this machine is blatantly a Scopedog.
