Seed had an inept protagonist and a gary stu that took most of the scenes from him.

G Gundam is a criminally average big robot show.

and the original series is unwatchable for anyone below the age of 30. The pacing is glacial and the animation is so awful it'll take most people out of the story.

Turn-A and G Gundam are my favorite "full" series while GBF is my favorite meta. Everything else feels mediocre in either story (SEED, Wing, ZZ) or presentation (0079, Zeta, ZZ).

Get that anecdotal evidence out of here. Friends will like pretty much anything that's recommended to them. And recommending 0079 to most people is like telling a new Transformers fan to watch G1. There's a reason the three movies are a recommended starting place for new viewers.

Which is exactly what my post was saying. Nothing has changed after my initial post. The first sentence is hyperbole, the second explains my opinion in a clear and logical manner. But you're too stupid to notice I typed "for most people" and instead you react like a child at any opinion that doesn't fit your narrow experiences.

And it's possible to like something despite it's flaw. With the Gundam franchise there's not a lot to choose from.
