Its mostly against billions of trillions of bugs but they also have some robot godzillas, hordes of spazzy bipedal mechs and a shit-ton of carrier spaceships to deploy their monsters

And thats only scratching the surface on the shit they have. In one game I played the bugs evolved into dragons and the aliens literally walled off the sky over most of the Earth. Pretty sure humanity should end up extinct by that point even after you win the game.

This is the best farming level in the game and you're basically punching Godzilla and stepping on giant bugs while piloting Giant Robo.

The big one gets hip cannons. The smaller ones look like the mechs from Mechwarrior and Blue Gender mixed and come with a variety of different weapons, from flak cannons to flamethrowers to missiles to artillery

What's your point. A new Armored Core could well be like first 11 where there's literally no missile spam or like 5 and VD where you have to specifically build to get a missile craft.

4 and FA are literally the only games where missile spam is present and they weren't widely liked by old fans hence why they dialed it down for 5. Why would they go back to 4's style now?

I know that sounds like the weirdest thing ever, but I got Conception 2 on the PC, and I played a lot of that game on the Vita, and it's movement during battles just freaks me out because I was so used to it performing much lower. Not saying that is a bad thing, but I've been playing EDF for 5 years and it's always been a shit frame rate.

I just finished a playthrough where I was pure-Soldier class.

There was not much Balam related content from my experience. Can air-raiders summon it in during normal gameplay? I was disappointed there was no Balam mission near the end.

Yes.

Smacking Hectors around in a Balam is so satisfying. Their weapons barely tickle you and just one or two punches send them flying.

In my experience, the best farming path for Air Raider is to use Wing Diver to clear up to Mission 53, then play it as Air Raider on Inferno until you get good enough weapons to farm Mission 76 (Armored Blast Railgun will do, the E version is better) and 82 on Inferno.

Just stay in the tank and run over weapon and armor pickups.

Broke, laptop probably can't run it. It's totally on my wishlist for when I get a job and a proper rig though, looks amazing.
