Hello /m/,
I am looking at this MS, Wondwart, from AOZ and i couldn't figure out how its transformation is supposed to work.
To understand what I'm confused about, we will use to "Yellow Vent" on the thigh as a reference point to indicate that it is the front side of the MS.
>>14619707
Legs and torso fold in to make the middle section of it's MA form and it's legs fold in to make it's wing-like sections.
The Wandwart's transforming mechanism relies on a "disc" in the center of the MS. The body, crotch, and booster are mounted on this "disc". These 3 parts rotate along the "disc" to complete the transformation.
The 1st step is fairly straight forward.
The arms and legs fold up as shown here.
Now here comes what I can't wrap my mind around. It is the position of the body and the booster.
Let‘s take a looks at where is the postions of body and booster along "disc".
And keep in mind that the yellow vent as the front side of the MS.
After everything is folded up in to its MA mode, how is it possible that the body is now flipped under the booster???
The body and the booster seem like they are mounted on individual hinges along the disc as shown in >>14619729
It is like they magically switch places???

The booster can rotates downward, but the crotch gun will get in the way. Unless the gun is detachable. So, I have no idea. :/

Is this a serious question?
Probably something like this.

that would kinda work if you rotate the booster, but take note of the position of the yellow vent on the thigh.
>>14620185 in this illustration of its MA mode, the yellow vent on the thigh is facing the top.
If you rotate the booster, the yellow vent on the thigh would be facing the bottom, which is inconsistent with the illustration.

the booster rotates downward between the thighs. The yellow vent should be on top in MA mode.
>>14621025
the booster can't go between the legs, the lower groin appendage (penis? booster? event?) would block it.

looking at this image. if the legs rotate 180 deg so that the yellow vent is facing away and then the booster rotates 180 deg along the vertical axis and covers the head you have it.
>>14621199
use this as a reference
>>14621199
How would the legs rotate 180 degrees?
Look at >>14619707 and >>14619808
There's a camera on the outside of the legs in both MS and MA mode.
It had a mobile armor mode?......god I want a kit of it but the thought of the transformation...
>>14621222
It's an actual partsformer?
>>14621234
That's what we're thinking about here, a transformation.
Though a larger scale than 1/144 would be better.
>>14621248
No, that's just how they all fit into that central drum frame.
>>14621223
it seems the legs are attached to the frame disk via some mechanism that also functions as the hips. whether or not that can rotate or not is up in the air, but as i said in >>14621199, if the booster covers the body in the exact position that it is in >>14619753, then either the upper torso or lower torso would only need to rotate along the horizontal axis 180deg to get the proper alignment.
