Nigga, every moderately big fanbase will have lots of autists, I don't think we're THAT bad. Not to mention that PR is a kids franchise, a tokusatsu at that, so it requires a specific mindset to enjoy. It not being a 100% original product, as seen here on /m/, wont help either since potential fans will feel more inclined to just go for sentai.

If you wanted the Bragi-Oh now, though, it'd be more like 12000 JPY (~120).

This ain't Inazuman or Zubat, this is a forgotten Power Rangers show. Fact is, Sentai series have never been skipped since the original Mighty Morphin era and that was due to keeping a hold of their initial image instead of being basically forced to go with the easy options because your franchise is a castrated zombie now. No we have no Go-Busters, no ToQger, and we could well have no Zyuohger either. I know after Disney it was basically this or die but considering the last few years part of me would rather have let it die after RPM because this shit is just embarassing.

The series they skip always have weird costumes anyway. Toqger is ugly. Go-buster was leather so it doesn't even look like Power Rangers. I hope they skip Zyuohger cause that shit was ugly too.

Well, doing a quick search on the Japanese wikipedia, apparently the modern design for the Kunoichi appeared, or at least was popularized, with the mini-skirt kimono and such, in the 60s (although with fishnet stockings, rather than thigh highs, which are a more recent thing), already appearing in both manga and even live action tv shows and movies during those years.

So, yeah, it's a "modern" pop culture invention relatively, but it's also an image that has existed for half a century now.
