I'll dump it later on. Enjoy.

thanks mate.
These are pretty short. Any reason why the previous group never bothered to finish this? Also, chapter 9 down. I should have the final one done sometime tomorrow.

will you compile it in a single archive?
Starting dump. Fight night. The greatest gladiator match in the history of the world: Cyborg versus Demon; day versus night; Cyborg 009 versus Devilman!
>>14608862
Yeah, of course.
Chapter 8 dump over.
So is this the same as the OVA but longer?
Or was the OVA only a little of this or something totally different?
>>14609345
Totally different from the OVA but better.
Starting dump for chapter 9.
Done.
Okay, that's it all done. However, I'll compile the volume tomorrow. Bye-bye!

Okay, this last chapter repeats the last 6 or so pages from the last chapter so 4chinks won't allow me to post them again obviously.
Would you ever take Ishinomori, xpearse? Even for a one-shot.
>>14612220
Is Ishinomori worth getting into? I've never read any of his works.
The end. What do you guys think of this? I liked it.
>>14612230
I like him better than Nagai. I recommend Robot Keiji, The Way of Ryu or Kikaider. The Gilgamesh manga was left unfinished by another translator, so you could start from there since I heard you don't like for stuff to remain untranslated. Well, take a chance when you can, I think it's worth it.
>xpearse's only fan is mario
>>14612230
>>14612359
Ishinomori is your go-to super hero manga artist who tutored Go Nagai and Gosaku Ota.
I like Cyborg 009, but his stuff is fairly standard.
I respect him, but my guy is Nagai. Even when Nagai produces shit, it's entertaining shit.
>>14612282
This isn't the last ch right? Just the last you TL? Sorry I'm very out of it right now.
I like the OVA, but I got bored with the manga. I really don't dig the art.
>>14612769
Last chapter of this. Of course I'd finish it.
>>14612805
It is web tier art so that's understandable. Sometimes it holds back good stories.
>>14612742
Is 009 worth getting into? Seems kinda cool.
Thanks for your work Xpearse, translations of extremely niche material is always appreciated
Are you interested in translating Harenchi Gakuen someday in the future?
>>14612742
Ishinomori is way more than super-heroes. His most praised series are Sabu and Ichi, Sandarabocchi and Hotel. Hotel was actually more popular than Kamen Rider and Sentai, but there's no marketing value for it in the west, so it's not as well known, but it was a best seller with over 40 volumes and its television drama lasted for over a decade with around 30% ratings. Omiya-san is another big hit of his. But because those are adult drama and not sponsored by Bandai, not too many people heard about them outside Japan.
Sabu and Ichi is partially translated since Happy Scans/HnG used an old outdated edition for their scanlations. But it's still solid 12 volumes worth checking out to see another side of Ishinomori.

>Is 009 worth getting into? Seems kinda cool.
It's consistently good, but some stories are better than the others. I would not say you would definitely like it if you like Nagai, Ishinomori's hero stories are not exactly hot-blooded, but have more of a cynical edge with tones of social commentary. If you can get into it, you will love it. If you don't, there's still space for some enjoyment. I suggest you to try it.
>>14612942
Wait so that is the legit last chapter? Shit man I kinda wanted more.
Hell I just want a more 009 in the Devilman world. Just to see how different shit would go down in both stories.
>>14612942
Which is this from again?
>>14612674
I doubt it. But as a former translator, I really appreciate what he does and his ability to filter and completely ignore people like you. I know I can't do the same so I gave up long ago.
>>14613638
>But as a former translator
lel
>>14612359
>The Gilgamesh manga was left unfinished by another translator
This bothers me to no end because I really wanted to know where the hell Ishinomori was going with that storyline.
The plot line in that manga was just so interesting, too.
>>14614021
I got bored with it, didn't really like where the story was going especially since I read ahead.
>>14614361
Are you the former translator?
>>14614399
Yes. It's hard to work on something when you don't find it interesting anymore.
Thanks Xpearse, finished now and it was pretty cool, Its good that this isnt just a manga version of the OVA.
>>14613273
>Harenchi Gakuen
Unsure. That is a bit long and would be a big project so for the moment I'll stick to short things to be done first. However, is it meant to be any good? Hige Gojira looks pretty funny.
>>14613530
I would actually read more, too. Hell, team 009 and Devilman fighting off the initial demon attack sounds pretty awesome.
>>14613552
The Amon OVA. Thread is that way if you're interested.
>>14602349
>>14613638
The key is realising it's just some asshole on the internet.
>>14616320
I'd rather have the OVA based on this. Would have been much better and epic. I mean, the scales are totally different. Fate of two universes and just some battles.
>>14616333
Translate Omorai-kun, it's only 2 volumes.
I'll even dump the first chapter (excuse the image.jpg I'm posting from my tablet)
>>14616462
Alright, there you have it.
>>14616368
Ha. Didn't they make an appearance in VJ? So that's what they were from.
>>14616480
Indeed.
Do they show up again?
>>14616467
Haha a childs penis, true comedy from the legend himself never gets old
>>14616560
It was funny enough that ttgl used it as a gag in that parallel works short
>>14616560
It's really funny that you're so proud of being able to slowly decipher simple Japanese that you feel the need to shitpost about it.
>>14616560
It was a different time. Even Dragon Ball did it. Not that it has ever been funny but well it's "Japanese" humor, I guess.
>>14616496
No clue. Maybe. Maybe not.
>>14616480
>>14616496
>>14616496

Indeed.
Nagai is a comedic genius.
