Is pokemon /m/ related now?
>>14607887
How many pokemon does it take to do this?
>>14607892
five.
one beldum for the mono-eye, a mega metagross for the lower torso, a metagross for the upper torso and two metang for the arms
FUCKING
MAGNETS
>>14607887
pokemon has always been /m/
>>14607887
I honestly hope this would be some gimmick in future games, I love metagross. Too bad everywhere I go people spoil things about the game for me. More than half the dex was revealed and it's going to be as stale as my x/y experience. Gen 6 was already mediocre and that was the icing on the shit cake.
>>14608913
New game has a different thing instead of me has depending on the island they're in, that's all I'm going to say to keep from spoiling.
No mecha yet though.
>>14608918
*instead of more megas
whoops
>All the faggots on /vp/ referencing TTGL
I always thought the toxic fanbase was a meme
>>14609107
/vp/ is retarded in general.
You should expect the absolute worse.
>>14607887
Assuming Kaiju stuff counts as /m/, pokemon has been /m/ related the moment it was conceived
>>14609147
It is certainly /m/ inspired to a degreeinb4 toku is not /m/
>>14608913
>tfw I know nothing other than type shifts and that there's still no fire turtle starter mon
I'm kinda hype at the alola nonsense because some of those type shifts look really fucking nearo but at the same time I dunno if I want to jump back into mons, I've been out of the loop since gen4 and I don't like the idea of leaving my mons from DPPHgSs and starting from scratch.
I mean it's a fucking chore raising those pseudolegendaries, yknow? Gotta dredge up Beldums and Larvitars all over again, grind levels, determine movesets...
I don't even play competitively, I just like shitstomping things with those two, and I like doing it with a modicum of efficiency as opposed to raw brute force.
>>14609107
All the video game boards on this site are chock-full with underage
>>14609160
>mons from DPPHgSs
Technically you can transfer them up if you've got a buddy with Gen V and possibly VI games
Coincidentally Golurk was one of the few pokemon designed by an American, James Turner.
He also designed the Vanillite line, Vullaby/Mandibuzz/, and Phantump/Trevenant (one of my favorite grass types).
>>14609107
Only 2 kinds of people post on /vp/
>Smogonfags and Karenfags who bicker endlessly
>literal 14 year olds
Though if you need a specific pokemon bred, there's no better place to go than the wifi general.
>>14609178
James Turner is British, not American. He is the only non-Japanese designer to my knowledge though.
>>14609107
You're worse than them.
>>14609172
It's the most ridiculous chain of events though.
Can't they just make a 3ds app that strips pokemon from the DS games and moves them into the Bank? I could live with the service use fee if it could make things expidient.
>>14609208
You can I think. The Pokemon Bank does just that I think.
Though last time I used it was to shove everything I had from X into it. Only leaving one pokemon. A Ducklett.
>>14609285
Only if you're on gen5. Or virtual console gen1.
I have like a metric fuckton of promo legendaries too that I cannot for the life of me remember where they all came from (I booted up Diamond for the first time in ages and it's like every other box there's a promo Mew, I have no fucking clue what I was doing back then and I can't remember if me playing the Feebas market was responsible for this)
>>14609208
Isn't that what Poketransporter is for?
>>14609208
You can transfer from the DS games straight to Pokebank and then to any of the modern games, but not from the GBA ones.
>>14609339
Oh I thought it was for any DS and 3DS Pokemon game.
>>14609527
Well yeah, that's part of the reason why they remade gens 2-3, and now gen 1 is pokebank compatible.
>>14607887
>>14609527
You need gen5 though.
I completely regret dropping mons before gen5, I hear it was a really good generation.
>>14609689
Gen V had the most polish of any generation.
Pokedex was entirely new pokemon.
Fantastic pokemon distribution across the routes.
Great final boss fight.
Gym leaders actually left their Gyms and did stuff.
Only bad was that the starters were all trash.
Get a Rom and play it.
>>14609107
>WAAAH PEOPLE KNOW ONE THING MORE THAN THE OTHER
>>14609727
2nding this.
>>14607887
Pokémon was always /m/ related. However, the fact that it has its own board, /vp/ takes priority.
>>14609188
It's trash either way.
>>14609107
>thought the toxic fanbase was a meme
Is this literally your first experiencie with the pokemon fanbase?
I
>>14609949
It does get pretty bad at times over there.
But the most ironic thing about it is that one of the most chill people on vp end up being the guys in the fanfiction threads. At this point I think they all realize they are degenerates and end up making joke lewdfics for the hell of it
>>14609913
>Golurk
>trash
>on /m/
I haven't felt this disgusted in months
>>14609689
Technically there's nothing stopping you from jumping into V now
Except that there's a brand new game coming out in a couple months if you don't want to burn out on the pocket monsters I suppose
>>14610216
He is not talking about Golurk.
>>14610085
>at times
It always is.
>But the most ironic thing about it is that one of the most chill people on vp end up being the guys in the fanfiction threads.
Well, maybe it's because that is an alleged fanfiction thread unlike threads discussing official content which also end up being fanfiction threads since the pokemon fanbase doesn't give a shit about official content.
