I guessed I missed that mini-convo a bit back but I honestly don't like how Targeting stat just kinda removes a lot of the value of other things that affected it. Like, it's hella dirt cheap to upgrade for whatever reason and pays off really well so everyone who's competent at SRW seems to rush it as a first stat upgrade.

Really seems to reduce the value of things like Accuracy parts and Predict too (well, the latter hasn't really ever been good, but it's even less valuable with a Targeting stat)

Like, no need to go so far as to AP standards where 10 SP Strike suddenly turns you into a high tier character but I don't exactly want it to be something you cast just to hit Bunshin units once in a blue moon.

I guess that's kind of the difference of the thinking of a designer and a player - yeah, as a player you love 100% hit rates on everything so you can win easily but as a designer I kind of think actually being able to miss makes for memorable moments, though sometimes frustrating in cases of clumps.

Final attacks don't matter. You can freely use all 3 without having to have used them enough stages beforehand, although you won't get Infinity Caliber until two stages from the end.

Atlus localized it, complete with changing things to get better points across rather than just being literal about everything.

In this case the robots everyone nervous for using and viewed as cursed being called Berserk instead of "Vanishing" because the latter doesn't sound very scary without context that won't always been explained in story. Same reason they didn't call Soulgain Mustache Man cause that sounds silly.

Aggressors is just because the Japanese name for the team wouldn't fit in the text boxes well because it's a Kanji term that would be several words more to write out in english that just 3 letters in Kanji.

Same reason they changed all Ryusei's 5plus Kanji long ass attacks names because there's no way "Under Heaven and Earth Guaranteed One Shot Kill Buster Cannon" will fit in the space they have to use written in English.

It's called Aggressors because that's what they call veteran soldiers being the attacking side in a training excercise to teach new recruit how to counter the enemy. It's a decent localization.

Though there's really no good reason for Gaido being a Jamaican. Other than trying to make him more memorable I guess?
