No, it went full generic shonen with a retard that spams special moves. G Gundam is fucking great. Everything is fleshed out, especially the characters. It's a fun ride, that's both campy and serious at various points. Try on the other hand is just a generic cast of characters with shitty harem elements and even shittier mobile suits, just a sad attempt by banrise to push more model kits. It had none of the love that went into G gundam or the original, and as far as I'm concerned it's definitely the worst piece of gundam media anyone could watch.

Ive always done my gundams snapfit with handpaints (if I painted). But I want to get into airbrushing. Atleast to try it. But I never go for the best when testing the waters, simply because ive done it to many times to dislike it after dumping money into it, so I tend to go with a happy medium to start and work my way up to the good stuff.

With that in mind, whats a good budget airbrush kit. Something 'cheap' (not lowest of the low, but not expensive either). Im planning on getting an Iwata IF I like it, but like I said, wanna try it first.

Can anyone recommend one?

Badger Patriot 105 works like a charm, goes for cheap (70-80 bucks I think), and comes with a full warranty for free. Their customer support is really helpful and attentive too. The airbrush has a medium size needle but there are conversions for a small detail one, it can spray any sort of paint supposedly. No plastic bits that can be eroded with thinners either.

I will admit some of the kits are pretty good despite the show being underwhelming. The Build Burning line has outstanding articulation, Star Winning is one of the better SDs, Denial is useful for the hair, and there's always more option parts coming out.

I built one of these long ago, in the olden times. If you are only used to Bandai plastic, prepare for some of the hardest, toughest plastic of your life. And also some really bad seam lines, although I didn't build this one specifically. I just remember that all the Koto kits from the old AC lines had at least one or two really bad seams.

Nothing really except for a few more decals that look better and should've been included with the RG, like the giant name sign on the shield. The MG, sadly, cannot hold its own weapon. Aside from that, is that scale, so it's better for ham fingered people.

The RG is more than likely the better buy.
