Will Gundam Sentinel ever receive an anime adaption?
No.
It would be very cool, but I think it would have happened already if it was going to happen.
I'd rather see Hathaway's Flash. There's a story that would still have some bite.
best cameo ever

Sunrise execs did recently say at a London event that they've been looking a lot more excitedly at various side stories they've done in the past, so it's possible.
>>14593032
I heard Sunrise doesnt actually own the rights to the story.
>>14593232
Isn't there something weird with the copyright holdings of sentinel though?
>>14593241
Yeah but as to how much of an obstacle that would be? I honestly don't know.
>>14593248
depends, hopefully they could work out something that's to everyone's benefit.
Look at Doctor Who, BBC doesn't own the rights to the Daleks, so the current deal (as near as anyone can tell) is that there has to be at least one Dalek episode per season.
Not sure how it would apply here, but some kind of equitable deal could be reached if there were interested parties on both sides. You definitely don't want it turning into a Robotech fiasco.

Model Graphyx owns the rights to the characters and story of Gundam Sentinel. Sunrise owns the mecha.
Basically Sunrise can't do shit without Model Graphyx being part of the production committee which means more hands in the kitchen and more money to divide up.
>>14593032
No need. The Gundam sells without any need a visual promotion.

If only the gundam designs didn't look like pointy trash
yeah, I remember something about the publisher having the rights for sentinel instead of sunrise/bandai, and at some point there was a disagreement, probably over licensing fees, so that's why they stopped using sentinel units in the gundam war card game and the few sentinel kits (hgucs and mgs) are quite old now, probably when the agreement was in place
but for a while now, bandai has been releasing sentinel merchandising, although it's mostly limited tamashii web releases, there has been a few nero robot damashiis, a couple mk.v and even an ex-s to be released in the coming months. there's also the hguc zeta plus from unicorn, which I'm not exactly sure if it also belongs to the publisher or bandai, and I think I saw some xeku zwei candy toy, which I'm not sure if it's limited or not.
what I mean is, they've been slowly releasing sentinel merch (and hathaway's flash's as well), which could support what >>14593232 said, and bandai could be testing waters with the toys before making more uc ovas

the anime version of a book always tweaks things. I'd love a boxy redux of the Xi.
>Will Sentinel ever get an anime?
I sure as fuck hope so.
>>14593086
i'd rather avoid seeing Hathaway altogether.
>>14593032
No. MSA-0011 already has a HG and MG and chances are the most people that interested in Gunpla already have either some version of it. Why the hell would Bandai bother dumping money in a show that isn't pushing new plastic that people don't have yet?
The rule of thumb is that if toys have already been made, then no
>>14594051
Thunderbolt had gunpla and yet that got developed. When was the last sentinel gunpla released?
>>14593041
How are the Xeku series' performance compared to the Geara Doga/Zulu/Zaku III?
>>14594789
Probably as good as a Zaku III.
>>14593125
oh fuck my sides...
>>14593448
model graphyx only owns the character and story, not the mecha. That's why there's been all this merchandise of Gundam Sentinel being released without any media associated with it
>>14595430
>model graphyx only owns the character and story
Wow, they got the shit end of the deal on that.
>>14593032
Probably not.
>>14593032
I hope not.
A girl Gundam? Ewwww.
>>14593084
Is this a vidya rpg or a table top rpg?
>>14594535
Thunderbolt had new Gunpla upon it's release as well.
