Judau and crew were fun to watch thanks to them not being actual soldiers, and I mean even less so than the Z people. The bizarre and unconventional tactics they pulled out in battles had them winning many battles they really shouldn't have. They beat an actual military force with non-standard childish ideas and fuckery. I kind of don't think a "regular military" AEUG would've beaten Neo Zeon.

Jewdough is the best Gundam protagonist, jointly with Amuro, Uso, Garrod and Loran.

Also discussing Judau alone fails to include the fact that he often plays the straight man to his team's crazy antics, just as ZZ is as much about the entire team as it is just Judau himself. Everyone plays off each other and furthers each others' development.
