There's alot of different heroic Commandos in the Metal Slug game series huh? Only played the early ones then played that FTP tower defence-like game on Steam which ended up surprising me.
After seeing them all and reading up on it... kinda made me want some like an SRW strategy game, with all of them and heroes from other games of the same genre.
So all the heroes of Metal Slug fighting alongside the Mercenary Kings for instance.

The slug gunner is great but I'm partial to the original slug. There are also some fun/silly ones like the camel or the Augensterm. The slug flyer is also pretty badass too.

Theres an old (java-era) Mobile games called "Metal Slug Tactics". Basically metal slug + advance wars.

Same here. I have the Wii version, but it doesn't support the Classic Controller Pro and you can't use GC controllers for the Wii U. I'm considering double dipping if the PS2 version isn't a terrible port.

The "animation" in KoF XIV is pretty good and mimics the 2d games very well though, the issue is with the models themselves and somewhat with lightning, not the animation.

Wii version does not have hitspark and has a bunch of game breaking bugs.PSP is oddly the best one. Or you can use Fightcade for 1-5.
