Wow. This is a special kind of crap. The kind of crap that retroactively makes past points in the show become crap. So what was the point of any of this? Why didn't he just bring Takeru back to life and tell him to collect the eyecons anyway? And if he knew about Makoto and Kanon already was he just willingly to throw Kanon under the bus so Takeru could come back to life? Even though he could of just brought him back to life anyway?! And why didn't he just come clean after the 99 days or after Adonis died or after Alain and Makoto saw him and said "Hey you look like that guy we know"? There was no consequence to keeping this secret!

Because they already pulled the "Is that?" - "No it's someone else".
Really he was just a poor judge of character because Takeru would probably have agreed to become Ghost even if he didn't have to do it to come back to life if he had just been told "This is what your dad was fighting for".

Remember the Iguana bike? I sure didn't.

I liked Alain's showing of anger against Adel, that was probably my favorite part of this episode. Also Adel starting to get annoyed, that was cool too.

Overall pretty bog standard Ghost episode, though the end game does feel like it's about to start pretty soon.

Christ, I'm not the biggest fan of this show but I didn't expect it to go back and retroactively ruin parts of it's story. What the fuck was even the point of the conflict with Spectre early on if Sage could have just brought back Takeru no problem

I think they're deliberately running the death cliches into the ground, since they did "Rider's non-human partner dies" with how Mr. Belt died at least three different times.

Aside from the stupid plot shit like Sage was able to bring back Takeru during the first 99 time period, I really enjoyed this episode all the character moments like Alian yelling at his brother, Sage remembering the fight with Takeru's dad and Takeru's fight with adel really felt like a final fight. Adel taking Takeru's advice the completely wrong way was great although I doubt it will be paced properly

Until very recently, Edith was playing both sides for muh utopia, it's only very recently that he came around to considering just stopping Adel to be more important. He figured the death timer would give Takeru the motivation to go out and gather the Eyecons in a suitably timely manner that Saionji wouldn't get them first. And yes, he was totally willing to throw Kanon under the bus for it. When Takeru died he figured he'd just use Makoto instead.

Basically Edith didn't revive Takeru when he had the chance because he was an asshole back then, and by the time he actually cared instead of faking it, it was too late.
