the GM rifle was because they were fighting in the city and there's an emphasis on not causing reactor explosions, which a beam rifle can cause more easily due to overpenetration

So this has been bugging me forever. We never see the Nemo pilots, they never have any lines in battle, we never see named characters pilot them, the Argama throws them away like they're expendable, and anyone that has read The Odyssey will know that they're literally named, "no one."

People pilot these things, right? They're treated like they're just drones, but I'm pretty sure that they're not.

Surely it wouldn't just stick in the wreck but melt through the rest and fall over/sink into the ground. Like if you stuck a heated knife into a stick of butter it wouldn't stay upright but just fall over and melt through the butter.

The knees are my only complaint about it. Knees can't quite reach a 90 degree bend, but that's mostly due to the bulk from the leg jets getting in the way. Everything else about it is very good, especially the shoulders and ankles.

"Shooting backwards" meant her suit should have been sent backwards by the thrusters. You can see that even though the Jegan is pushed back, the Kshatriya doesn't move an inch, and instantly follows up as though it had no backwards momentum.

The Jegan was imbalanced somewhat, but it's actually the Quad-Wing that moved backwards, you don't realize it because the "camera" remains in a stationary orbit around it and you lack any nearby STATIONARY(relative to their battle) objects to use as a point of reference, making you think it was the Jegan that was pushed away.

In the battle at the Palau asteroid of episode 3, Zeon suits blow up after being hit by pink beams and missiles, and it cuts right away to show that incoming Jegans are responsible. Dunno if that's good enough for you. The only time you'll see a Feddy suit blow up a Zeon suit in the same frame is if they're in close combat, which doesn't happen very often. Otherwise..

In episode 1, the lone Geara Zulu was taken out by the ReZELs. In episode 4, a GM III stabs the Juagg with a beam javelin which almost certainly takes it out of the fight. The missiles that hit it afterward were just insurance.

I have to conclude that the semi-striker swings slow and stupid. It's animated as unforgivable bullshit instant movement magic, but the idea seems to have been that Reber just gets into the weapon at its haft, and then under and past it.

Compared to the normal type from F91, the B type has extra firepower and the A type has extra mobility. The names are rather misleading because unlike the D type, which is the RGM-89D, the A type is the RGM-89R and the B type is RGM-89M.

The A/B/J types from F91 are about 30 years newer, and have improved engine, reactor, and avionics compared to their CCA/Unicorn era counterparts. The J type is the basic Jegan model of F91 which is already and improvement, but the A type offers further enhanced mobility because it has reduced armor and extra thrusters all over the body. The B type has heavier built in firepower due to the hip-mounted missile pods.

I think that's more bad animation than anything else, it just did some duckin and divin under the swing of a weapon that's honestly fairly awkward at that range where the Efreet could move in with its dagger. I'm okay with it because it's relatively believable and the Schneid gets the benefit of being a cameo from someone with a story and some importance to them.

Also I guess the Striker family really is about the only CQC gimmick GMs out there huh.
