Why do GM Snipers in the UC setting barely ever snipe?

Aside from 08th MS team, they've always been high performance custom units with only a minor emphasis on sniping. I don't think rhe White dingos used a Sniper rifle at all, and the Gray Phantom's GM Sniper IIs used 90mm machine guns.

Then they're also made by Feds that known to rush up everything, so many of their machine doesn't work like what its intended to be i.e. Aqua GM

There's a big difference between putting someone over and jobbing you dunce. The K9 pushed the the final boss guy to the limits and practically totalled his machine, created by the tournament organizer and creator of Gunpla Battle to win the whole thing. It made them look good while making the Meijin look even better. Luang Dallara jobbed to them, the Renatos put Meijin over. Now the GM Sniper IIs in 0080, those guys jobbed hard.
