I didn't see a gif thread in a while.
I want high quality out of context scenes.
bonus points for dirty fighting and robots being wrecked
Why gifs? Webms are way much better.

>The O finally gets to do something badass for once
This moment will forever be cherished in my heart.
Why, oh why did it have to job so hard in its own TV show...? ;_;

>The O slap chopping an Astray
What?

>fucked up aspect ratio
plz leave cancer
Have a classic
I forgot where this one was from
>>14550114
Pretty sure fucked up aspect ratio is a requirement for tumblr gifs
>>14548098
>out of context scenes
So every Kamen Rider/Super Sentai webm ever?
>>14550131
Looks like Captain Earth, though I've not seen the show to say for definite.
>>14550214
Yeah seems to be "Earth Engine Ordinary" from Captain Earth.
>>14550214
>>14550336
Yep, that was it. I should label it so I don't forget again.
I don't have nearly as many /m/ gifs/webm as I thought I did on this PC.
November can't come soon enough
>>14548111
WEBMs are shit. Too often people make 5-second webm clips that are 720p when they could've just made that a fucking gif.
>>14550131
It is in fact from captain earth.
>>14551285
did you just complain that you prefer to see something in lower quality?
>>14548136
this reminds me of the guro gifs you see

FRY DA SKY

>tfw planetside 2 mechs are in the game files but aren't usuable
>>14552663
I'm saying that it's a waste of resources to make a webm in full resolution for something that's just a 2-second loop of some anime girl shaking her head. You could just use a gif for that and I wouldn't need to have a media player pop up just for that. Webm is for scenes and excerpts that would benefit from full res and frames, like >>14550457 or this, where it's actually an edit and splice of several scenes.
>>14553552
Even then a short webm's gonna be a significantly smaller file compared to a gif
What the heck are you using to open webms in your browser. You have image expansion enabled in your settings?
>>14553603
No, of course I don't. I like opening my images in full-size in new tabs.
>>14553643
Then I don't see where the media player comes into it
>>14551285
Are you literally retarded?
>>14553655
Webm automatically opens a media player on the browser I use.
