I did.

I thought it was pretty decent, and one of the most interesting mech shows of the 90s mostly for what it is and not what it does.

God raideen was awesome however

I'm like halfway through watching it.

It has the occasional good episode plots, but honestly most of the show is having trouble keeping my attention. That said, the main villain getting God Reideen is a pretty big twist, and it was picking up as of the last time I stopped.

I watched the whole thing when it came out. It was unremarkable.

Well, it does accurately show the way 140 meter tall robots would fight. It also has BEST GIRL. And it has an incredible score, opening aside.

On the other hand it gets rid of a potentially interesting plotline for half the damn show, runs a blatant filler episode that doesn't fit anything late into the show, has a final episode that's clearly rushed for space and would have been better if they'd used the filler episode for actual plot, and kills aforementioned best girl while barely mentioning her at all in the finale, which is highly out of character for most of the cast.

Overall it's not that good, but it's not horribly bad either. Just eh overall. Did some things well, did other things not so well.
