I started watching gundam after watching the original anime and haven't watched the movies since I thought they were just a compilation and didn't add anything else(what was proven untrue when talking with a friend about this)

but as far as I know, the two versions are diferent and I have no idea wich one of them is "truer" to the world, and I'm not even sure if it interferes that much
