I suppose the whole Shinsetsu series (original Jinki plus the Lost years arc from Jinki Extend) could be translated since it's a story with a beginning and an end, unlike Jinki Extend.

So we get weird shit like Jinki: Extend Relation where random BS happens, and it's also somewhat a sequel to Jinki: Extend, in that it's set further down the main story line. Jinki: Extend itself just ended the Venezuela arc.

The gravest insult was randomly killing off Kyouhei or whomever Aoba's lover's name was then have him haunt Kouse as a ghost until they could find what happened to his body.

And it's not because I like the Aoba/Kyouhei pairing, but because Kyouhei was much more competent than that. He's also survived being brainwashed and later being temporarily fused with Aoba's Jinki. It was also jarring coming straight off the ending of the Venezuela arc, despite the fact that stuff happened between then and Relation's start, but is missing due to the mangaka's inability to keep focused.

Tunashima Shirou just needs a manager who can keep him focused without him burning out but allowing him. And also an editor willing to keep the focus on the mecha, with the girls on the side and the plot more focused.
