Zambot 3.

I love samurai looking robots and Zambot 3 does the job very well for me. plus I like the show a lot.

Daitarn 3 and Trider are cool too.

I dig Daitarn the most, really wish Trider had subs though.

Dunno, haven't seen Trider since it's not subbed yet.

I like Zambot more than Daitarn though. Both are good, but I prefer Zambot.

As far as the designs themselves go, I like Trider most. I've always been a sucker for chestplates with bird emblems.

It also has the most convincing alternate forms, not that that's saying much.

Yeah, a lot of them are based on combining with the support shuttle. There's a shuttle mode it can do on its own but I don't know what the rest are, other than that they exist.

I love Daitarn as a robot the most. I like the open mouth, I like the Samurai Headress, I like the fucking huge blades on the legs, I love how it kicks missiles rather than just firing them, I love the giant Iron Fans, the Javelin and the Gundam Hammer.

Zambot definitely has my favorite design. I wish I could see it animated with a not-shit budget. Plus its attacks are really cool. Daitarn is a close second, but I've never cared much for Trider.
I do prefer Banjo to Kappei though.

Where's Daiohja? According to Sunrise, the four of them are retroactively called the Sunrise Super Robot Series. The term, "Muteki Trilogy", like the "Nagahama Trilogy", doesn't actually exist in Japan as it's a Western fanmade term.
