there are 15 unique ML trading cards, you will get 8(and only 8) from playing Muv Luv for X amount of hours.
the other 7 must be obtains by different methods
method 1: Buying off the Market
each card is roughly 50cents each sold by other players.
method 2:Booster Packs
for 400 gems, you can get 3 random Muv Luv trading cards(this can only be done once a day)

once you have all 15 cards you craft them into a badge, consuming them in the process.
You will receive random rewards which range from discount coupons, to Emoticons and Backgrounds for that specific game.

or you can skip the whole process, wait till the 22nd(because Steam is stupid), and buy whatever backgrounds and emoticons you want off the market

Hey guys. Did you notice taht in corned of each TSF cards is one 3 color coded traits with a symbol of their primary weapon above? Most obvious guess would they are convenient icon to quickly tell player what are strengths and weaknesses and best role for TSF on the battle field.

Red - Power -> Damage?
Blue - Speed -> Movement speed?
Green - Technique - Fuck if I know. Crits or maybe specials/ultimates?

Symbols:
Sword - Melee
Rifle - Long Range
Shield - Tank?
Rockets - Long Range Support? Or maybe very powerful special attack, guessing by what I saw in gamleplay movie.

I wonder if Pilots will also have their preferred style of fighting not just stats.
