Say, did anyone else notice some of Orb's body lights up when fighting the Mag-Beast of Earth; the purple for more speed based on Tiga's Sky type, and the red lights up for more power based on Tiga's Power Type, even the voice grunts of Tiga when it happens.

I really liked the Gargorgon episodes mostly because Gargorgon has the coolest design out of all the monsters in the show to me. also using the shield to reflect its attack to defeat it is a nod to the mythological story the monster is based on.

Out of the more "filler" type episodes I really liked the one that was like a TV news show doing a special report on Xio. although the space monster cat mu episode was good too.

I'm picturing a 3-color design in addition to the obvious silver, divided across his body from the colors of his triangular color timer. So his neck/chest/shoulders would be one color, while his arms and legs on either side would be different colors.

Mode changes would correspond to whatever color the top half is, with those powers acting as amplifiers for the other sides.

For instance, say he has elemental powers. If he has wind(head)/fire(right)/lightning(left), he could summon literal firestorms. However, if he were to switch and use lightning/fire/wind, he could create super-charged mirages to fool the opponent.

But that's just an example from my sleep-deprived brain. They could go with anything, really.

Ultraman suits are made from a specialized latex, and latex overall shows the underneath form a lot better due to how skin-tight the material is + stiffness, which can give emphasis on some areas because of the lack of folding and general movement/freedom (like the crotch, unsurprisingly). You can notice it on things like gimp suits, for example.

Stuff like spandex/zentai aren't as form fitting or tight as latex, which is the material used for some Kamen Rider suits and practically all of Super Sentai. Guys like Kamen Rider Kuuga have their undersuits made of latex, which is why you can see tons of dat ass thorough the show.

That, and Ultramen are supposed to be giant aliens first and foremost. They have to get the suit to be as form fitting as possible to avoid folding (as it's not supposed to be a human guy in a costume in-show). For this reason, the suits are sometimes tailored specifically for the suit actor inside. You also gotta be pretty much naked to wear the Ultraman suit, especially considering how fucking hot it gets inside. I typed way too much for this
