GBFT is an ongoing thing. Whenever there is a chance they will throw in a special epsiode or 2.
Island War is said to be GBFT summer holiday special. Just like Pokemon and Conan it will come back whenever TV Tokyo has a slot for it.

We know that Try merchandise did not perform worse than S1 otherwise Bandai's Gundam toy sales for that year would not have seen growth, it would have been stagnant or at worse regressed in sales. It all actually seems to point at Try having been more successful than season 1.

Also considering that things that perform really well get new content, what do you know, Try is getting its shot first.

Honestly? It looks fun, that was the issue with Try more than anything it took its self way too damn seriously most of the time.Try had ts moments especially early on or things like Tryon or the finale which weren't that bad honestly.

If it can be fun and not a total bore/too serious all the time it could be enjoyable not great but enjoyable.
