Kickstarter-funded 12 minute pilot for what they hope gets picked up as a full series. It looks like it'll be in the same vein as Trigun and Cowboy Bebop, so part of me hopes Toonami gets it. But the other part of me wants Netflix to so I can watch it all at once.

Here's the trailer for the pilot (Which sounds kinda fucked up buy hey). It's currently only available to backers but they said it'll be wide released soon.

"First episode" makes it sound like this is the first of many, but the campaign was only for this pilot so there's no guarantee there will be more. It did get delayed in typical Kickstarter fashion though lol.

Between that and his Spike Spiegel look it's definitely derivative while trying to be original. The girl is supposed to be some special kind of android that's the stuff of myths, the weird kid is some maintenance bot, the dude can't die, and the giant ox robot is their car.
