I think the edginess of red and black is proportional to how edgy the thing using the colors is. On something like the Denial it's extremely edge, on your AGE-3 or this GM Striker it's not really edgy.

That's because i took the Titan's colour scheme but applied it while taking in mind the Quanta as itself as well. The "too much yellow" is probably because of the clear part. While on the body they are few and fitting to be accents, they are just too many on the shield to the right.
