Been rolling the DX with it in an attempt to get it or the Mk-II and GM Quel with no luck. Got a rental for it and the movement of the Super Gundam is really weird. It has that weird drift mechanic for some reason.

I went for Shiki and Zeta, so I haven't tried getting Super gundam yet. Have to love Zeta's launcher being a CBR without the charge and the double grenade being a 9k zook provided you actually connect with both.
I have to say, Psycho Zaku makes it near impossible to beat Zeon in rush maps with all the retarded dps it can dish out. Could only put up a fight if your team can manage a solid defense line.

Having an easy mode kd beam really helps but I can't say it's a full counter.
Best way to really fight it is either stagger or knock it down before it fires at all. Compare to the gerobeam, Psycho's bazooka spam can stagger and have splash so you can't really do much once caught in it, not to mention you die really fast.

I play both factions about equal now, having an answer to the shiki just knocking your out of the air at 400ish range is super nice for once, my only other real answer was be using CBZ at 600+ or the gouf flight at 500+, at least the thunderbolt also seems super great, so no one really got fucked over with this dx.

A nice tip for all you NetLimiter users. The Netlimiter service nldrv prevents the MSGO from launching, as anything that tweaks with your network bandwidth is deemed a cheat by Bandai Namco. And for some reason merely going into the Services under administrative tools to stop the service via the Windows gui doesn't seem to work. So, to completely stop the nldrv service, start a command prompt as an administrator and input:

net stop nldrv

And once you're done with your play session, input:

net start nldrv

To start the nldrv service back up again.

How do the bgm tracks you can buy work? If I buy it does it auto switch my music? Do I have to go to some menu and manually switch it? Also, any reccomendations on which bgm to buy I would like to get thunderbolt but the tracks they have for it are limited and the best from thunderbolt imo.

You have to go into the settings and change the music, and frankly its not worth it. The songs loop really awkwardly, you are better off going to youtube downloading some extended OSTs and playing them while you fight.

Zeons equilant is already the heavy armed geara doga, if youre in gold super gundam isnt really popular, zeta is, because its nearly functionally the same, the killing power is also as high, but has much more mobility, and therefore, survivability.

Almost all of the high tier suits on both sides could use a nerf, shikis being able to instant switch bazookas is absurd, tetras beam should just be removed, zeta being able to get a hi mega buster bazooka and use the shield, quebley's funnels are the second least fun thing in the game, and both thunderbolt suits are a load of issues.

To be honest, the only issues remaining are Zetas, Shikis and Tetras. Because they outnumber every other suit in gold tier, without error. And by every day that goes by, the percentage of Zetas in the equation grows. There are no other suits that can instaneously not only kill, but negate any other suit at from beyond-600 to 0 range. The Shiki was just an experiment on how far the internal advantage could be taken. Zeta is the next step.

And to everyone's delight, Zeta is only the current "meta". If Sazabi is released, ZZ and Nu-Gundam will be released. If Sinanju will be released, Unicorn and Banshee will be released. There is no variation, just an endless feed of buy-bait suits for the majority clients.

Well, the Zeta is basically Fed's to go unit for range battles due to how absurd the beam version of the launcher is. It's basically a fully charged LBR without the limited ammo and charge time. Not to mention they buffed the projectile speed making it easier to land hits.
I really hope they nerf both thunderbolt suits, it's like they did not even test the suits and released them for a cash grab.

One of the problems with the beam launcher is you have no idea what version it is until it shoots. It could be the super powered beam weapon, or it could be the 11k bazooka.

I don't think psycho zaku is overpowered in the traditional sense, I usually laugh when I die to a storm of bazooka rounds, but the japs eventually realized it's real strength is its beam bazooka. It's real strength is it's absurd burst damage against bases, putting even mainstays like tetra and melee bd2's to shame.


The FA gundam has an amazing set of weapons but the canister shot is so strong it manages to stand above all the others. You could go around running just that and vulcans.

If the terrible closed-in maps like Inside bao-a que, ruins, and canyon weren't bad enough before.

Kai's Guncannon is no doubt good, it has pretty damn good stats for a 300 cost unit, and can equip both mortars and bazooka. It's also got that hilarious rock and can use either a few beam rifles or shin's beam MG. I don't think it'll see THAT much use because I'm sure most jap players would still rather use WD mp guncannon.

Ramba Ral's zaku is definitely an odd suit. Its stats definitely aren't impressive, mostly having lower stats than Vase-Gouf, but it's still a low 260 cost, but has greatly enhanced machine gun options, its whip is a combo attack, and has a sea serpent equivalent, not to mention it's bonus module of extra melee damage and I think increased walking speed.

Nah, if you are on Zeon and you face a Zeta, 8/9 out of 10 encounters, it will have the beam version. It's insane easy mode anti-air/stagger application triumphs over losing zook's aoe and 1500 power.
For psycho zaku, the beam bazooka is like a unlimited type W sturm faust but it's not really a must have over say another bazooka spam, but the fact it rapes bases makes Zeon have an advantage on maps with easily accessible bases provided they make it in.

Is NEO-GOONSA still alive? Those guys were pretty chill when I played with them like a year ago. NEO-GOONSA is still the most active western guild, I think. Pretty full, but slots open time and again. Since the guild bonuses are decent, active players that contribute towards guild challenges are preferred over paperweights, as you can imagine.

Its cost and cooldown is a huge hindrance to the cancer melee playstyle of the Pixies and Nachts. It's also huge and a lot easier to hit.

"Awakening" grants it ridiculous melee movement with double the damage and basically infinite boost. He also gains 3x max armor but it gradually depletes and kill itself.

In theory it's useful to break deadlocks and chokepoints, but practically it's useless in front of FATB and Psycho Zaku zook spam.

Again, for the people playing it, the cooldown is the biggest issue for the mainly melee playstyle it gets.

Haven't seen one with a gold print for the "Pressure" ability though, that might actually be really good for defensive measures against rushes.

Yeah, you have to have a suit that's space-capable to begin with. Some suits, such as the Gerbera Tetra or Gerbera Gundam, have adaptive parts that make them space only, which are in the subpages of the equipment menu.

Space adaptation modules will permit most units to work in space with reduced speed and balance penalties, but even then, I think the red overlay stays. And they cost enough to warrant months of grinding.

Geographically, Taiwan is closer for me. However, I think Taiwan MSGO has worse host infrastructure due to it being a secondary beta. It'll likely step up in bandwith once the game rolls out in earnest. If it ever does.

Also the Zaku IIF Heavy should be your main suit and you should be focused almost to the exclusion of all other weapons on the charge bazooka. Give it two days and you'll be knocking suits out of the air with it and getting double kills on airburst shots.

Oh, and go look up the english wiki for the upgrade menu, and just go ahead and jack the boost capacity of your Zaku as high as you feel comfortable to within the limit right now. Upgrades do in fact make a pretty large difference. There's a pretty good gap between a stock unit and one that's been autism maxed out by pumping gold tickets into it and resetting it when you don't hit crits. Whales tend to use these suits, and they're wholly abundant in silver and gold. Do try to get a feel for playing quickly so you can learn how to build a suit out and get a bit of a boost.

I wouldn't take Crix's words to heart, especially someone who just hit admiral with a 1. something kdr. You are missing out on the hyper bazooka and 30 upgrade slots, but if you have the passive of spray shooter or beam shooter you should be fine. Shotgun KD into shotgun if you have spray shooter or shotgun KD into beam rifle if you have beam shooter. Gold weapons can make or break a suit but it seems that for the Mk.II it just changes your combo. Not having the hyper bazooka does suck since you don't have a BZ for range but trust me all you have to do is bully people up close and KD them with the shotgun and kill them.

The one you get from the Gashacon is the Heavy Ez-8 with a Charge Bazooka while the Exchange Ticket is the regular Assault Ez-8. In the meta, the assault and the vanilla Ground Gundams are pretty outclassed.

That's just the nature of high damage weapons like Sturmfausts. That will increase your KDR, but something like an IIF spamming charge bazookas won't specific get kills, but +4 point assists still contribute a lot as well. KDR really isn't important in any good team based game.

Not to mention stuff like engineers, but if somebody clearly doesn't use them often, then they won't affect KDR much I suppose.

I'd say the best way to judge skill is the individual rank in each game. That way you can actually see how much they are contributing consistently. High amounts of medals don't really count because they will come over long periods of time.
