A pretty good character that got screwed over her entire existence in the ova and back story.

I feel like she could have been so much more, but what we did get was nice while it lasted. She was an opportunist who wanted to get more than what she had, but Cima fell victim to the writing of 0083. The series could have been so much more, but inconsistent bits in the story and some shallowness in the characters held it back.

I still enjoy 0083 greatly, but its potential to become something more bothers me greatly. Would be pretty cool to see the Mayfly of Space be a pirate in some future series.

I genuinely thought that their time spent getting to know one another in the various hangar scene interspersed throughout the show was endearing. Again, it's hard to call to mind having spent so much time away from the series. Nevertheless, the fact that I remember being so heartbroken over Nina's actions at the end of the show were a result of their "relationship" until that point.

"The characters are shit" doesn't seem like a fair argument when you have a diverse cast that provides a lot of interesting dynamics. Keith, Monsha, Cima, Gato, Kou, and Nina are all fairly distinct and well developed characters from what I remember.
