- Prescription: After Makai no hana's ending. We know both characters but we are given new information. I don't remember Raiga using the fish either.
- Rootless wanderer: After Tougen no fue because fuck the police. I couldn't find a single hint of its location, so I just put it there because in that place they seemed to have some solo adventures (Tougen, Soukoku, Black Blood).
- Stranger: Between Gold Storm movie and show. It could perfectly be between Yami and the movie also, but the episode introduces some tidbits about how Rian feels about Ryuuga in particular and relationships in general that are going to be used plotwise in Gold Storm TV show, so I think it's more appropiate to put it there.

There's no reason to believe that the series itself will be like that. For this clip, they needed to do it because they were going to mix it with widescreen footage, and also considering how it was just a little portion of the screen, there wasn't any reason to not simply crop it. For a proper full length TV series, cropping would be more of a hindrance than an improvement. They would have to make something actually less than SD look like it's HD just for the sake of aspect ratio. I think it's most likely that they will just add some sidebars like how they did for My Name is Garo.

Supose you have the original SD 4:3 version with a resolution of 640x480. If you take that version and make it HD, you will end having a video with a resolution of 1440x1080. If you crop it to have the same aspect ratio as 1920x1080, you end with a video of a resolution of 1440x810, so you'd have to remaster it again in order to get it back to HD resolution (or preciously make it over HD as to not get under 1080p when cropping it).

Been rewatching Goldstorm recently, I like the season but it's got some writing problems. Looking it up, it seems Amemiya only wrote the first episode and last two episodes. Otherwise the rest was handled by a bunch of different writers, Kei Taguchi, Sumiko Omeda, Youko Izumisawa, Norio Kida, Kenichi Kanemaki, Junichi Fujisaku and Yoshinobu Kamo. Taguchi did the most, writing 8 episodes and co writing 2 more. Seems like there was a whole mess of writers on it
