Chapter 247 was the second part of 2 about an ominous super-intelligent invader called N326ian which uses dimension hax to "copy" and "overwrite" an area in order to conquer it. A certain character in the main cast is connected to these guys.

In the starting flashback there, a little while before Keroro and the others came to Earth, those N326ians were just surveying the planet, and 9-year old Saburo ended up seeing them. He asks if they're aliens, and asked to take him with them. His parents aren't around, so there will be no worries/nobody'd really notice if he's gone.

The Keroro platoon is trapped in their own base, and Natsumi/Fuyuki grab the Powered Natsumi transformation device and Keroro's Kero Ball to get into the copied area to rescue Aki. New Keroro, detecting a non-Keronian friendly signal, Tomosu and Kaneami show up too, which is good because when Fuyuki tries to use the (now old-model) Kero Ball it to break down the dimensional wall, it doesn't work (doesn't have this function, pls buy the new model lol. Reminder that 300 years have passed since the Keroro Platoon left Keron) and New Keroro uses his. Tomosu and Kaneami are told to wait there (why'd they even show up?) while the other 3 go in to get to Aki. The N326ian notices the three and sends his Guard Machines after them. The machines get Natsumi (in slightly redesigned Powered Natsumi form) and New Keroro get on the ropes, when Saburo, who knew another one of those guys came to Earth from the last chapter, comes there and recognizes the man as his adopted dad while he was on their planet. After a nice, brief reunion, the N326ian calls off the invasion and leaves Earth.

Fuyuki is doing a report on the 7 Wonders (or Mysteries) of the world and is stumped on a 7th one to put there, them heads out to the library for ideas.

Meanwhile in their base, the Keroro platoon is working on their latest ultimate invasion weapon, the Keroron Ball, which is actually one ball formed from seven.

While Fuyuki is gone, Black Star drops by through his window, noticing the reaction of an abnormal invasion weapon not in his archives, and spots Fuyuki's paper.

Kululu explains how the Keroron Ball (a name Giroro thinks is really childish for an ultimate invasion weapon) works* and the others are impressed and surprised that an invasion can be achieved that easily with it.

Black Star seems to have heard the whole thing, and, holding Fuyuki's report for some reason, and the one ball is spiit (back) into seven, going to those places around the world Fuyuki's report depicted, and the hunt for the 7 Dr- uh, Keroron Balls begins.

Fuyuki notices the pages of his report are blank, and Black Star, in laughter, leaving the same way he came in, says he should ask "them" (referring to Keroro and co) about that, and that something interesting is going to happen.

Fuyuki gets curious, and noticing the obvious "Pokopenians not allowed!!!!!!", "You could say, emergency situation?" and "Touch and it will explode! Fear it!" signs and such, he definitely knows something's up and eavesdrops on leaving Tamama and Mois who are basically saying everything (about the 7 balls going to the places in Fuyuki's report and how they have to find them all, how collecting them will make invasion a cinch, how they can't let the Hinatas find out, etc) before Tamama THEN says to stop blabbing because someone might hear. Fuyuki gets noticed by and caught by Giroro.

Keroro wants Fuyuki to help him anyway, and Kululu explains that the Keroron Balls also have anti-barriers, and even though it works on normal earthlings, it doesn't work on them (?? not quite clear, 2nd dialogue on the panel on pg 6), and that others are after the balls. So Keroro wants Fuyuki to come with them the locations in his 7 Wonders report.

"But Sarge.."

"Hahaha, you have that face like, 'Isn't Sarge going to use the Keroron Balls to invade Pokopen once they're collected?'"
"..hahaha! um.. No comment."

Fuyuki wonders about how he's going to explain being gone from the house to his sister and mom when Natsumi calls him to the TV, where the news is reporting that the Nazca Lines are disappearing fast, which is becoming a big problem.

The platoon and Fuyuki head there far quicker than it would take riding a plane as normal using superdimensional gate tech.

That reminds me, did anybody ever find any complete footage of Keroro's other matches in Hustle?

I'm mildly certain I've seen a clip of him in a tag match with Razor Ramon HG.
>>
okay initial research isn't coming up with it so far

the Keroro Challenge DVD only has three matches, the same as the listings he has on http://www.profightdb.com/wrestlers/sergeant-keroro-5802.html

There was a guy on youtube who had all the Hustle shows, so there's definitely ways to download them somewhere.

http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp.e.ck.hp.transer.com/hustle_fes07/
gives the info for the show he first wrestled on,
http://www.swewrestling.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=58699&sid=e371cc8c7a29f08f4cde991ebb39b413
lists HUSTLE on PPV - "Hustle Matsuri": December 31, 2007, Saitama - (3 hrs) as the show he fought the cobra guy
>That irritating Hustle frog getting beat up by a masked guy with a cobra hand while a live monologue was going on

so going from there would be how to check for evidence of Keroro working other matches in Hustle

But a later episode shows this. Was this one used too or is it just a random design made by the anime?
>>
Last time I downloaded anything Keroro related was that big batch by Dorkly.
But I believe since then somebody had release new subs and talked about it in one of these threads.
Any statut on what's available?
>>
>>14412427
The batch you're talking about had subs up to which episode? There are complete subs of varying quality up to the middle of the 6th season, with random episodes subbed afterwards.
>>
>>14413624
Damn.
I'll check later but IIRC the batch had subs for the first 3 seasons and a few more.
>>
>>14413746
>>14413624
So I just checked.
It has complete subs up to 159 and then randomly subbed episode: 161, 172, 182, 183, 185, 186, 188, 189, 194, 197, 226, 243, 345, 358.
I'm just sorting them here since the folder is a mess.
Has plenty of raws too.
You're telling me there are subs for at least 100 more episodes?
>>
Samefagging hard.
Hotdamn you're right, two more seasons fully subbed.
Thanks for the head up.

so I watched the dub when I was a kid and I remember liking it but I bought a bunch of the mangas recently and the constant sexual stuff with natsumi is creeping me out. I know cp is legal in japan and all that shits but I don't see why they'd live it in the english release....

The anime removed the actual visible panty or bra shots from Natsumi and other female characters.

Still, Keroro manga's nudity isn't really that bad. The panties aren't very detailed and it's not even every chapter that has something like that. It's basically similar to what you'd see in 90s manga like Ranma 1/2, rather than an actual ecchi centered series like To Love Ru.

The anime still lewded her and the others quite a bit for something aimed at kids, so it isn't too much of a stretch. And assuming you mean the Funi dub, which even upped the innuendo on some dialogues bringing them close to, or back to, the level of the manga (damn, it couldn't have been THAT long ago. Time fucking flies), that's something you probably should have been prepared for.

Also, CP is illegal there, but fiction ain't reality. Or else stuff like Kodomo no Jikan, TLR as mentioned and others wouldn't have been allowed to exist.

Yep. In the first season, the anime removed or toned down many black humor punch lines from the manga. It skipped a couple of short stories too (It's kind of odd that they never used those "12 stories in a single episode" features for these shorts).

The initial set up also has some big differences since there's stuff like Fuyuki changing schools and joining a manga club which was never in the anime, also the ending of the 1st season of the anime is told from a completely different point of view from the original manga story.

Later on, the adaptations are closer to the manga, but starting from volume 14 and 15, there are many stories that were never adapted by the anime, since it jumped around a lot.

In addition to unadapted material, some of which is a given because the original anime ended 5 years ago, the manga's translation -really- helps with the humor more than any of the fansubs for the anime do.

I'd actually recommend it first for newcomers, even though there's quite a bit of cool original material (especially on the /m/ side of things) that's in the anime.

They probably didn't do it since they never finished the Pirate line in the first place (it was canceled before the release of Dororo's - the one here is a mix of the MkII with the pirate vehicle, so it's mostly the same but still missing the right colors and some extra details that only would come with the actual release)

Huh. Never knew about this. It's apparently a pre-tv airing "pilot" video clip.

Several of those short clips would later be reused or remade in the tv show proper, although the more complex ones are exclusive to this.

That was pretty interesting to see. Lots of scenes out of the manga, or stuff that showed up in (mostly) OP1 and the promo art like at the end there. It would've been cool if they used that shot of of Keroro running up the wall somewhere, that was nicely animated.

It seems that at one point the Gunpla were going to be genericized (or maybe it was just for that promo), which would have definitely cheapened the show and it's humor a bit, not to mention throwing out a bunch of plots.

Reading the manga after watching the anime is weird.
Since chapters are shorts, things happen fast and you can see a lot of stuff and details were added in the anime adaption which made it charming.
Some characters also feel pretty different but I guess they might evolve as it keeps going.
>>
>>14550221
The anime also removed a lot of stuff though, especially in the first season - like how in the manga you get the minor subplot about Fuyuki leaving his previous school before going to Kisho, but in the anime he's just there from the beginning. I really dislike how the anime removed a certain scene from the Christmas chapter.

Some of the content that you think might be missing is just in a different order though, like the toy store chapter which happens very early in the anime, but in the manga it comes a little bit later comparatively.

There are some differences between anime and manga that just remain there though (like how Dororo's trauma switch is used much more often in the anime, while sometimes in the manga he just leaves angrily. Paul, 556 and his sister are pretty much main cast members in the anime too, while they have much smaller roles in the manga).

honestly, so far what have been removed is extremely minor for the most part.
On the other hand the anime adds tons of stuff, some details, some subplots. In the end it really makes it shine.
The voice acting, sound design and use of soundtrack is also really excellent.
I like the manga but I still think the anime is a great addition.
>>
>>14563361
There aren't outright cut chapters, aside from a couple of shorts, but a lot of the removed content is right around the ending/punchline of the stories though. I guess you could consider it minor but I thought it hurt many of the early jokes. Also, have you gotten to the first Christmas chapter yet? The anime added a lot, but they also removed a really important scene.

Yoshizaki Mine's original design for Urere. It's basically the same used in the actual anime, although his emblem seems bigger here.

He's described as a "Private Keronian Invasion Adviser", while in the anime's take he was just a private invader, making both the invasion plans and invasions by himself.

While I laugh quite a few time while watching the anime and reading the manga, I don't mind the removal of some punchlines.

They really went above and beyond the call with the adaptation of the Christmas story in volume 17 here, with the added use of God Keron and all the Mk.II robots to fight against the Kiruru (as opposed to just Keroro in the original Keroro Robo, Giroro and Tamama on their flying boards the entire time, Kululu in the base and Dororo not even showing up at all.)

The (first) song interspersed with Mutsumi doing his Christmas radio speech and the scenes of the platoon desperately fighting really added a bit of emotion to it. The other added stuff like the little party at the end makes the story feel fuller than the original, too.

In shorts? It happens, but mostly only in the beach chapters/episodes he's in.

Sorry, what I meant to ask was basically any non- beach and hot spring examples.
You said mostly, so I assume he was shirtless apart from the beach?

I overexaggerated with that; I don't actually recall an example of shirtless Fuyuki outside those and baths within more than 190 manga chapters and at least 250 eps.

Well hot damn, this is a cause for celebration! I don't think a long-runner show like this one got that kind of luck before.

Aaand confirmed:

>better video quality and translation
>subs are unweebified (except for some honorifics) so no more untranslated "Gunsou-san"s and such
>Subs actually get Gundam related stuff correctly

Only problem is that they're still hardsubbed, but I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth.

Apparently, this is Yoshizaki Mine's favorite robot design, Red Zone from the Duel Masters card game (this is just fanart he drew for it, not an official image).

The one with the file called [Keroro] Movie 03. "[Keroro] is an alternate name for the Doremi fansubs' Keroro subs.

The platoon has arrived at the Nazca Lines, taking a look at the geoglyphs, while Fuyuki(?) drops some knowledge about them, such as the famous Condor, the largest and most famous structure, which the manga points out is about 135 meters (about 443 feet) long, and the fox, about 50 meters (about 164 feet) long, which Tamama thinks just looks like a dog, and the monkey, which is recognizable enough for even Keroro to point out (about 100 meters/about 328 feet long).

Responding to Tamama's wonderment over how much more glyphs there are, Fuyuki answers that there are normally 3 types: old drawings of animals, weird geometric patterns, and straight lines, before stopping mid-sentence to just mark out over actually being at the Lines and thanking the Sarge for the chance to be there/here/whatever. Kululu comes on over the intercom to remind everyone that they're there to get the Keroron Ball at the Lines and not to keep sightseeing. This reminds Fuyuki of the news report about one of the geoglyphs disappearing and asks Kululu to check one more out and to fly due north for it. His hunch seems to be true, because the hummingbird glyph has completely disappeared, which is supposed to be an impossibility for something of it's size.

They land. Fuyuki expresses concern that they'll end up messing with the Lines in their search, but Kululu reminds them that they're in a copied dimension that they created before they left (last chapter) and won't have any effect on the real Lines. Keroro and Tamama leave after giving Fuyuki a pin badge that functions as a anti- and an environmental- barrier, an automatic translator and etc. before he leaves, while the on-edge Giroro stays.

While Fuyuki is out looking/exploring and finding a fragment of Nazcan pottery, a foreign(?) woman seemed to be there, recognizing him as an Earthling. With the translator on the pin badge, he's able to understand what's she saying, and she asks him why he's at a place like the Nazca Plains. Fuyuki introduces himself to her, and answers that he's searching for something.

"Searching for something?" "Could you mean this?", pulling out the Keroron Ball.

"Then, too bad, but you won't get this."

Meanwhile, one of the geoglyphs come alive in front of the tired/dehydrated Keroro and Tamama.

>>14648527

Maybe the girl is Nazca then if she's supposed to be someone known? Although it doesn't look like it.
>>
>>14648530
Messed up a little there at the "Earthling" part. Fuyuki recogizes her (in disbelief) as an Earthling and not the other way around.

>>14648949
Stranger things have happened in Keroro, but she'd probably look more the part if that were true. She seems to be from Europe, judging by the German.
>>
New chapter spoilers

Speaking about Nazca... she does appear in the new chapter, although she isn't that girl. I guess they might have some relation or something?

It also seems like Nazca here will be completely unrelated to the anime Movie 3 version.
>>
>>14654013
>I guess they might have some relation or something?

Doesn't seem so. The ball seems to be the reason all those spooky things can be summoned from all the geoglyphs, and she just came out of the condor one.
